This property has it all for a comfortable weekend getaway. We enjoying walking the grounds, exploring the surrounding areas and biking the Sparta-Eloy trail. We found a cute pond to fish at the end of the drive and other ponds/lakes in the area to fish as well. We enjoyed sitting out on the covered porch and listening to the rain storms rolling in. We also got to catch an amazing sunset with nothing but rolling hills for miles. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen had everything you could need for utensils, and the living spaces connected in a way that everyone could sit and still talk with each other. Thank you Paula for sharing this gem!
Great space for our group. Easy to find and get in. The group felt like the grill needed cleaning, more bath products are needed particularly in master bathroom and it would be nice if toilet paper had more plies. Would recommend to friends or family staying in the area in the future.
We had a family reunion with 12 adults and 10 children. We had all the room we needed. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen is large with two refrigerators, all the pots and pans we required. The grill was was wonderful and very nice. The bedrooms are nice with plenty of space. Some beds very firm, others more soft â perfect balance. The yard is wonderful. We played yard games, water balloons and many running races. The fire pit was wonderful with wood and enough chairs supplied. The bike trail is only 15 minutes away in Norwalk. A convenience store was just 3 miles away as well. Our host was perfect. She answered many questions ahead of our visit and was very responsive to our questions and very accommodating! Perfect stay. 5 stars!!!
Twelve guys on our annual motorcycle trip. Excellent facilities, beautiful setting, and great riding in the area. Awesome porch with a gas grill and plenty of chairs. We were all impressed with this property and would absolutely book it again in the future.
Spacious and comfortable. Plenty of cooking tools. Some complaints about hardness of bed mattresses. Annoying bugs in kitchen area particularly. Nice scenery, WiFi was very sketchy. Overall it was a wonderful Christmas celebration for my family.
Our family and friends rented the house for the purpose of going to cranberry fest. It was a forty five minute drive one way but a beautiful drive. We could nât of asked for more beautiful weather. We also celebrated my nephews 40th birthday and my brother and sister in lawâs wedding anniversary that weekend. Sleeping was great .The beds were very comfortable. No one complained about anything except that there was no dishwasher., but we all took turns . Will definitely return. Thank you Paula . We all had a blast.đ
We booked this property for about ten people. We were delighted with the rural area and the steers feeding nearby. The house was perfect for our needs. We were delighted there was a high chair for the toddler - if it was in the description, we missed it. There was plenty of room for us to hang out and have separate spaces. If coming to the area again, we would definitely return!
We had a great time at Paula's house! Lots of room for our large group consisting of 4 families. Paula was very quick to respond to any questions either through the app or directly via text. Loved canoeing in the Kickapoo River and hiking in the state park. Found a great bowling alley in Tomah for a rainy night. Would recommend! Thanks, Paula.
House can accommodate large groups both indoors and out. Our group of 16 adults and 3 dogs enjoyed the location and privacy.
We did not have internet at all during our stay.
Also, we needed to pick up our own shampoos.
A short drive to a lot of fun outdoor activities.
Very nice property for a group, we were 8. Very remote, and that's not negative, peace, quiet and nature surrounded the house. A great place to get away from it all.
This place is amazing we named it the Kickapoo Mansion
We rented this for a Jazzercise team bonding weekend. The ownerâs are so accommodating and nice, they even called to tell us to hit the cellar because of tornadoes. Itâs amazing the fun 9 women can have drinking wine in a cellar.
We stayed for a week at New Haven manor and enjoyed every minute. The house is set back about a 1/4 mile from the road making it a very quiet and private property. We were delighted to be able to see the mother cows and their calves and missed them when they were moved to another pasture! The kids and adults alike ( 10 of us) enjoyed the front deck and lawn and loved the fire pit where we watched the night sky. Paula was a wonderful host and provided us with everything we needed including a delivery of firewood after we ran out. Communication with her was very prompt and clear, before, during and after our stay. If you are looking for a laid back stay amongst rolling hills, Amish farms and quiet country roads, youâll love New Haven Manor.
There's a 2 stairs that were lose and dangerous for the kids. Air condition does not cover the whole house we were lucky it was a cool weekend. Our lights went out with no explanation and cause. We were out of electricity and water for a while. I will say Paula did do great job a responding and sending out gallons of water in case we needed for flushing the toilet away. There's random steps that was dangerous for all adults and kids if not paying attention to thier step through out the house. The big loft room was not air conditioned. There was a portable AC but was not working also is where one of the dangerous stair was located.
This lovely country home welcomed us with open arms. Three generations found ample space to rest and enjoy our family. From here we biked the Elroy Sparta Trail, hiked through beautiful Wildcat Mountain State Park, and canoed the Kickapoo River. It was perfect.
Great property that had enough beds, bathrooms, and fully stocked kitchen to accommodate 10 guys on motorcycles. Grilling an evening meal and enjoying it on the shaded deck made the experience awesome. Star gazing after dark was stellar.
This was an absolute excellent property. Huge house with plenty of space to play outside. We had 10 people and it was awesome. I would recommend this property to anyone. We had a great time. Thanks Paula!
