Incredible stay at Casa Fisher! Well appointed home with an incredible outdoor space with pool and lush garden surrounding the home - makes it feel very serene. Easy / short walk to beach - playa pelada - which was almost empty most days. Easy 0.5 mile walk to playa guinones via beach or quick drive. More of a local feel than guinones. Couple great local restaurants spots (sunrise (LOVE!) & seekret spot) a short walk away or you can drive over to guinones. Property manager (Tiffany) ways super responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall amazing spot and experience!

Warning-Safety Concern

We had a wonderful family vacation at this home until our last night. The overall rating and location/neighborhood scores are scored considerably lower because of the experience we had. We feel obligated to pass our experience onto future renters and to warn other families of serious safety concerns.My family and I stayed at this property in March '25. On our last evening while we were at dinner, this home was broken into and 7k worth of only our items were stolen. When we left for dinner, we left lights on inside and outside the home, all doors locked and the front gate was closed and locked. We walked to dinner that night so our rental car was parked in the driveway. There were visible cameras outside but the owner did not have them on. We did not set the security alarm when we left that night but the intruders unplugged the wifi right when they came in so the alarm would not alert anyone. When we got home that night the front door was still locked and there was no forced entry anywhere. The people that broke in knew we all left for dinner that night, knew the gate code, knew how to get in the home, knew to unplug the wifi and knew the cameras were not on. We were mostly packed up because we were leaving early the next morning so our valuables were not in a safe. They took 2 backpacks and filled it with cash,jewelry, electronics,sunglasses,tennis shoes,etc. While it seems this property has all the security to keep you safe-be advised and use at your own discretion.

Really enjoyed our stay at the home. Well appointed and stocked
beach chairs/umbrella, plenty of towels, kitchen goods. Incredibly clean for a home in Costa Rica. Pool and outdoor space was amazing
the landscaping makes it feel extremely private. Walkable to great restaurants and 5 minutes to the beach. Will not hesitate to come back to Casa Fischer!

Gorgeous property

We absolutely loved Casa Fisher. The grounds are pretty and the house is clean and well maintained. The kitchen is the perfect size for a family of 5/6 with everything you need. There is also a big dining table for sit down dinners or card games. Personally, my favorite part of the house was the hanging couch outside near the pool. So cute! My husband and I would sit out there every morning and drink our coffee while the kids swam in the pool.The house is set off the main strip, quiet and located across from a gorgeous beach (3 min walk through the brush). My kids - 13, 11 and 7 - loved the beach because they could play in the waves, but also, at low tide, find some cool creatures in the rock pools. Almost every morning, we would take a 5 minute walk to Sunset Coffee, which has AMAZING breakfast and coffee. It is truly a hidden gem. Playa Guiones is about a 10 minute drive, which is a little more active, and has a bunch of delicious restaurants, bars and shops. The beach is gorgeous there too with plenty of opportunities to surf/boogie board. It is your quinessential surf town.Tiffany and Timothy were great to work with and were able to give us some suggestions, for where to eat and what to do, prior to our stay. Their recommendations were spot on and we were happy with all of it. Tiffany was always available throughout our stay, in case we needed anything, which was very helpful considering we had never been to Costa Rica.10/10 from me!

Gorgeous property close to beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property in Playa Palada. Within easy walking distance to the beach, other nearby beaches, restaurants, shops, etc. Not only is the house gorgeous, clean, well appointed, but the landscaping is beautiful. A dream vacation place. Enjoyed every minute of it.

Fabulous stay in Nosara.

Wonderful house with easy walking access to 2 different beaches and town. House is well stocked with necessities including beach and pool towels and even had some folding chairs laid out for us to go to the beach with. Great communication with the host and had no issues that needed attention while there. Our family had a lovely time. It was our second time to Nosara and love the town. This house was perfect for us.

Paradise

Book now! Do not pass this place up if you are thinking about staying in the Nosara area. The pictures are great but what you can’t see is that the home has everything that you need to have a perfect vacation. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook or have someone cook for you(which can be arranged!). The pool and outdoor spaces are well maintained and we even got to see a few dozen monkeys traverse through the trees right above us as we were swimming one afternoon. Beach chairs, towels and an umbrella were also a nice touch for our afternoons at the beach which is a short walk from the house. Restaurants, bodegas and a rental shop for boogie boards, surf boards, etc are also within walking distance. We stayed 7 nights and wished we could have stayed 7 weeks!! Thank you Tim for sharing your home and to Tiffany for making sure we had everything we needed!

Fun in Nosara

This is a beautiful home with everything you need for your family. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the washer and dryer are very convenient. The porch area with the pool and the lush gardens is the perfect place for hanging out when you’re not at the beach. The design of the home, with its high ceilings and open living room/kitchen area with lots of windows, creates a spacious and light-filled area. The house’s location is a short walk to a beautiful, quiet beach, and about a 10-minute drive from a larger beach and restaurants. We had a wonderful time and hope to go back soon!

Perfect location and beautiful house!

We had the most amazing trip!! Our family included 4 kids (9-16) and couldn't have been a better house for all of us. Early morning swims at the beach (literally a 3 min walk across the street down the path) were a favorite along with the most amazing sunsets. The pool in between beach visits was perfect. We were so happy to be in Playa Pelada over Guiones because the beach was quiet and so gorgeous and had some great beach bar options. We loved Olgas for the coldest beer ever and the chillest vibe with some simple fresh fish. The town was great for our kids to be able to take the Golf cart out to get ice cream or snacks. Guiones was only a 7 minute drive away if we wanted to surf or go out to dinner. But, honestly, we enjoyed the privacy of Pelada and instead liked going out to a few less touristy spots for dinner. We rented our golf cart from Monkey Quad, which was great. Definitely recommend getting a gold cart or ATV. Makes it so easy and fun to get around. Paradise Medical was amazing when my daughter got sick with tonsillitis. Thank you so much, Tiffany for being so helpful and attentive. We would come back in a second. The house was literally in the most perfect location and had everything we needed. I'm still sad to not be there now. :)

Fantastic home in a great location

Spend 2 weeks with family including young children at this location. Great house, very well equipped kitchen and super nice and cosy backyard. The house is 300 yards from a quiet beach in Playa Pelada where you can enjoy a safe beach with great sunsets and It's about 15 min walk away from Playa Guiones where you will want to go if you want to surf. We enjoyed the restaurants close by ( 5 min-10 min walk) especially the Sunset cafe for great breakfast and Taco Tuesdays at El Chivo. Thanks for everything Tiffany.

Amazing stay in Nosara!

This house is heaven! It was large and airy and the location couldn’t be better. Tiffany was super helpful with recommendations and arranged for us to have a chef come in and cook at the house—-the meal was incredible! We had a great time and would definitely book again!

Great House and Lush Gardens

We are a family of four and had an incredible experience at this property. The layout was perfect with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The pool and garden area was beautiful and more lush than the pictures show. The last 2 days of our stay we had howler monkeys visit us in the tree tops above the property. It was a quick 4-5 min walk to the beach and about the same to La Luna, a great place to eat and watch the sunset. It felt very secure with a gated entrace. Would definitely come again.

Gorgeous property close to beach

Casa Fisher is a beautifully designed home with three sizable bedrooms suitable for two couples and children (bunk room). The layout allows for everyone to have their own space and the furnishing is lovely. Outside, the lush landscaping creates a feeling of being in an oasis. A four minute walk takes you to Playa Pelada from which you can walk to Playa Guiones in another 14 minutes - truly one of the most magnificent beaches anywhere. Normally, we would give this property a resounding 5 as a rating but the daily (and I mean seven days a week, 6:00 am - almost 6:00 pm) noise from construction across the street significantly affected our enjoyment during our month long stay. Playa Pelada and Guiones generally are a hive of new construction and with that comes the noise that conflicts with the feeling of being in a peaceful ocean retreat.

Best family vacation yet (according to our 3 kids)

We just got back from our 10 day Christmas vacation in Nosara a few days ago. The house was as advertised, probably better. Very spacious, clean and modern. Tons of closet and drawer space etc. Kitchen well equipped. We had a few small issues, to be expected, but guessing each were due to things going offline/resetting after power outages. We didnt notice any construction noise from across the street, so they must be further along in the project. We only had one meaningful power outage (typical all across Costa Rica), which lasted a 2-3 hours, and other smaller ones for 10-30 mins a few other time. The outages caused a few issues (pool filter wasnt working, electric front gate wouldnt operate properly, fridge would not turn on), but Tiffany the property manager was very responsive and all issues were dealt with very quickly. The pool and outdoor area was like a high end hotel, very relaxing, set in the middle of your own private jungle. Note, you will need to use the pole/net to clean out some leaves and other tree debris that falls in the pool each morning, but only takes a few minutes. The property is well fenced/walled and we felt 100% safe at all times (we did set off the alarm by mistake and a uniformed guard on a motorcycle appeared in under 2 minutes, which was quite impressive). Internet was lightening fast, and both TV's were all set up with various streaming services (Disney/Netflix/Apple/Prime etc). Air conditioning in every room, icey cold.

Great Place To Stay

Stayed at this property for a week. Great location, a couple minutes walk to the beach, a few delicious places to eat nearby, and the house was fantastic! Four adults and two kids. Great pool and spacious setup. Very safe, private gate, keypad walkway entrance, and a house alarm as well. There is some construction on the road but there is construction all over Nosara so don’t be surprised when you hear some construction in the morning. Would gladly stay again!

Beautiful home

This is by far one of if not the most beautiful home we've ever stayed in, and we've done a lot of VRBOs. The home is absolutely beautiful with massive windows and high ceilings, lovely concrete floors, beautiful kitchen, etc. The yard has been professional landscaped and is like being in a botanical garden, and the pool is beautiful. The only reason I didn't give this property 5 stars is because of the construction across the street which Tim had mentioned was happening, but the crew must have been working on something quite different during his visits. At 6AM every morning of our week long stay, the workers would wake us all up by sounding a loud gong to commence work, and they proceeded to drill concrete (for wiring or plumbing lines?) all week. There was one day when they were quiet -- and that day was like being in heaven in this beautiful house. All other days we had to shout to one another when we were outside. Not ideal. We didn't see a single bird or animal, and we weren't able to relax at home as we'd hoped to do after a stressful few months for our family. Otherwise, this place is amazing, gorgeous, impressive, and close to many wonderful activities. We did a biological reserve tour originating at the Lagarda Lodge. We took surf lessons at Playa Guiones, ziplined at Miss. Sky ziplining, took yoga lessons at Bodhi Tree Resort, and did a wonderful fishing charter and caught a bunch of tuna. Truly a spectacular area and home (minus the noise).

This home was absolutely stunning. Our host and property management were generous and communicated well. There were cupcakes upon arrival for my birthday, sweet touch ;) as well as some fresh fruit. The home was beautiful and comfortable. There was an excellent security system and gate around the property so we always felt safe. There are markets, restaurants, coffee shop, and more within walking distance. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a perfect week.

Girls Trip

This was a beautiful home and actually better in person than the listing. It has everything you need for your stay in a great location. We felt comfortable & safe and the property manager, Tiffany, was quick to respond to any questions we had. Would highly recommend this house!
