Needs work

Bathtub leaked significantly, lightbulbs burnt out, intermittent wifi, glass railing is filthy and spoils the view, dishwasher is sub par, couch cover was damaged (not by us) taken for repair and never returned so we had an only partial cover on the sectional, my two back to back reservations were never merged so confusion about who was there. They wanted me to check out and check back in. Property manager reprimanded me for trying to sort it out at reception. Really. The beds were comfortable. My first stay at another unit was great. The Peninsula itself is fabulous. Just not this unit.

The little things......needed work

Stayed at this property for a week. I'll start with the positives: I'll start with the positives: location is good in the complex. Ocean view and very quiet. lots of outdoor space (two very large balconies.). kitchen was well equipped with very good cookware. It took until day 5 to have a working fridge/freezer. The freezer never did make ice. They delivered ice to our unit as we told them we had purchased a lot of food that was about to spoil. They sent repair people 3 times until they figured out the problem with the fridge/freezer. The safe in the bedroom was locked and couldn't be used. We only found one hair dryer in the whole unit (for 4 people.). There were very few amenities provided (a starter pack of coffee, tea, etc. would be a nice touch.). There were no dish cloths or tea towels (only 2 microfibre kitchen towels provided for a whole week and 4 people.) The garbutator didn't work for several days until they sent a technician. The thermostat in the living room also didn't work for several days. Cupboard doors loose. We have stayed in many other VRBO units, and for the price we paid for this one, it was substandard. very disappointing. The cooler provided (on the deck) leaked and was broken. Sink stoppers didn't work (wrong size) Just lots of little things that could have been easily addressed with proper inspection pre-arrival by the property management firm. For a 5 star price, I'd give this unit a 3 star rating.

Great place

This condo was great for my family. It was clean and had all the amenities. Close to the pool and beach. Lots of grocery stores with in driving distance. Close to Bucerias and Puerto Vallarta. I would recommend renting a car we didn't see very many taxis in the area. Check in and check out were a breeze.
