This hotel is very nice but over-priced. Usually a hotel at this price point would offer a goodie bag at checkin and free continental breakfast. The hitel is quite dated. The rooms are very small but clean. Please do not book this hotel if walking up stairs is a problem. There are , i think, 4 floors and no elevators. However, the friendly staff will offer to assist with your luggage. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone extra extra fluffy as the bathroom space is tiny. What i liked best was the availability of storage for you luggage in cases o early or late checkin or out. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evenings, reading a book. This hotels is walking distance to everything the island offers. They offer complimentary coffee, tea, and filtered water so bring a tumbler if you plan on staying here. Did i mention that most of the staff are very friendly? I did receive a cupon for $30 off of my next stay but the prices are too expensive if not booked through Expedia. Overall, this was a decent place to stay and i would recommend except for the aforementioned issues.

Summercamp vibe

We really liked our stay at Summercamp. The hotel renovation looks great. Our two rooms were tastefully decorated and had comfortable beds and nice showers with plenty of water pressure. The expansive front porches of the two main buildings were a favorite for everyone. Overall this hotel captures the Martha's Vineyard relaxed vibe, and is within easy walking distance of restaurants, Circuit Ave, and the gingerbread houses. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming.

I gave an overall rating of 4 because my room was so small, I was totally miserable. This Queen ocean view room, in the older part of the hotel is not worth the rate of over $550 per night. I regret not reserving a king room. I definitely will not make that mistake again. The property itself is an ideal place to stay.

convenient location for hyline ferry travel. kitschy modern minimalistic vibe. can't beat the front porch views for catching up on reading or taking in the view or enjoying morning coffee. no elevator. no bottled water in rooms. great water pressure in shower, hot water excellent. great towels, great bedding, frosty delicious air conditioning. super friendly front desk staff. have stayed here at assorted price points and different sized rooms, all minimalistic vibe, have had bunk beds in the tiniest of rooms to a large king bed room with waterfront views out of the windows.

I feel like they should put a microwave in building two and put a microwave on the outside of the little store. I kept having to ask workers to heat up my food and there were customers at the front as well.

Staff was great and very friendly!Loved all of the amenities! Our favorite thing to do was enjoy the free coffee and tea on the porch in the morning and then enjoy a glass of wine on the porch again in the evening! Their location is ideal; right on the harbor near shops, restaurants & walking paths. Just left We took advantage of the free bike rental and it was fun to see different parts of the island. Love the number 13 bus that took us so many places on the island for free. Last day we didn’t need to leave the island till later in the day and they had lockers to store all of our luggage for free! Highly recommend!
