I accidentally booked two rooms for two days, and my stay was for only one night. The manager worked with Hotels.com and refunded the extra two nights for both rooms. She is fantastic, and I am so grateful for her. She did not have to do this, as I was already outside of my cancellation window. I have stayed with them before on my business trips, and intend to stay there all the time.

I absolutely loved the staff during my unexpectedly lengthy stay here. I have given high marks to all features not because everything was perfect but because the people were. Good people trump everything else. Everyone at the front desk, breakfast room, etc were so sweet and helpful. They flagged me down if I had a package waiting, and were just so friendly and thoughtful. In my room, the coffee maker didn't work, and if I were anywhere else I'd have asked for a replacement. But I ended up not wanting to make coffee in my room because it was so pleasant to go to the breakfast room instead. The plugs in the light fixture on the desk would not work for my laptops or phone. Ditto the light fixture on the left hand nightstand. Anyplace else, I would have said something, but I didn't have the heart to here so I just found an outlet that worked and used that. I'll let them know when I eventually check out so they can look into it. I think this might be the first best western I've stayed at in maybe 20 years. I prepaid online through a third party. When I went to the front desk to extend my stay, they immediately offered to keep me in the same room (most fancy chains, honestly, don't in my experience) and even gave me discounts that I never asked for. I did not expect to be so impressed. I'm usually grumpy about shortcomings at lodging (I travel on business a fair amount - this trip was personal) but here, the people were so nice, it really made all the difference. Welldone
