Awesome Stay in DCL

We loved our stay here and will definitely be back! It was perfect for our family - plenty of space, comfy beds, and the house was so clean inside. Loved the firepit too and the state park pass. Highly recommend this awesome place - convenient to all of the Deep Creek fun!

Awesome host and house

The house was very conveniently located to all of our favorite activities for one. The check-in process was smooth and we were even allowed to check in a couple hours early which helped tremendously. The house was perfect for a weekend getaway with all the amenities we needed, a cozy living room, comfortable beds, and even some fun board games. We were looking forward to using the firepit outside which looked great, but it was just too cold so blankets and couches were the next best thing. I would certainly stay here again on our next trip to DCL.

Birthday celebration getaway

The house is well appointed and was very clean. We enjoyed the electric fireplace and smart TVs. The furnace heat did a great job keeping up with the 20 degree days when we were there. I'm sure that the AC and ceiling fans in every room do well during the summer as well. Dutch's restaurant is conveniently located across the road for a nice dinner. Rick's warning about needing a 4WD/AWD vehicle during the winter should be considered. The main roads are plowed and salted/sanded but store parking lots and side roads didn't seem to be. The roads right at the house were fairly clear. The circular drive at this house is very convenient for arriving and leaving without having to worry about backing up. We had a great time!

Very Nice!

I would highly recommend this house! It has lots of room to spread out and is extremely convenient to everything in Deep Creek. The unit was immaculate and well-kept. The owners were very responsive and friendly. We would stay there again.

This was a nice house and clean,but was disappointed that 2 of the TVs in 2 rooms did not work,and communication with the host was very poor,and by the end of the night when going to bed felt like I was in a haunted house door bell ringing and some one talking on intercom saying someone was at front door and the door was open when went to the door didn't see any one,very spooky will not come here again

Great getaway

Property was exactly as expected. Everything was clean and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. We especially enjoyed the outside space including the deck and fire pit. It was conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, hiking trails and Deep Creek Lake.

Family getaway success!

Best VRBO we’ve stayed in yet. Beautiful, spacious, comfortable home. Rick is responsive and made the checking in and out process a breeze. From the stocked kitchen with kid friendly utensils, the giant Connect Four game, to the bath robes and fit pit. My family of 5 enjoyed it all. Minutes to the water falls and a variety of food joints. The location cannot be better. We will be back!

Perfect clean and loved the location

This may of been the best VRBO that we have stayed. Attention to details throughout this house starting with benches in the foyer to store shoes and vacation items, to a bench in the upstairs bath with plenty of hooks for hanging towels. The kitchen is stocked and the kitchen table is perfect for playing games. The outdoor deck has just the right amount of natural shade canopy with comfortable chairs, and a fire pit, stocked with wood. There are just so many details and we did enjoy the hiding the gnome game! Thank you Rick and Amy, you house is a gem!

Loved this place!

We’ve been renting homes in DCL for the past 5 years for our family of 6 and this house has been our favorite so far. Terrific location, super clean and tidy, excellent linens, and the kids loved the arcade game and the giant connect4 on the wall near the kitchen.

Great House, Great location!

Stayed with adult family members and the house was perfect. Great amenities for cooking, coffee pot had both pot and k-cup options. Outdoor fire pit was great with the ability to cook overtop the fire! Beds comfy and that extra bathroom was nice to have!

Perfect location/right-sized home

Really enjoyed the place! The house was perfectly set up in layout for a little extra privacy for the first floor bedroom occupants which we enjoyed. The teens and dad enjoyed making a fire in the fire pit (with stocked wood ready to go!!!) and even though the home is surrounded by trees, there is enough clearing to still be able to see the stars and play a little Cornhole (we brought boards). I personally loved being able to walk across the street to the lakefront and bar at Dutch's Silver tree. Worry free parking was great too, room for four vehicles was excellent with several drivers in our group. Will definitely book again!
