We were given a "suite" which included a kitchen. The refrigerator came in handy as we had leftovers from eating out. There was a microwave to heat our food but there were no dishes to heat them in. My husband got ill while staying there so we were going to heat up some chicken noodle soup on the stove but the stove didn't work because it wasn't even plugged in! The bedroom was kinda dark as there was no ceiling light. There was a lamp on the dresser but there was no bulb in it. We enjoyed the larger space but the motel was a bit run down and there seemed to be families living there on a regular basis which seemed odd. The location was great. I do hope the owner can invest in the property and make repairs and upgrades. Our son lives in Alameda and we would like to stay there in the future but make look at other options to feel more comfortable. Staff was courteous.

The Inn needs to be renovated. The carpet is beyond cleaning with a vacuum, curtain was torn, mattress was lumpy, bed skirtting was torn, only cold water in shower, free breakfast was limited to 2 dry cereals and milk, yogurt, apple, bread for toast with butter and jelly, orange juice and coffee each day. The TV guide didn't show the correct time of day so it was difficult to find programs and when they would be airing. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service.

The Property needs an update. Rooms an common areas could use new carpets! The room i booked* wich was large with a balcony) was ok ,but the TV and Phone and many of the light switches did not work! We were moved to another room with a workin TV... but it was literally the size of a Box! An was just overal TERRIBLE!

Such a great location! The price for a room is very inexpensive but the rooms are dirty and could use a little upgrade. Just a suggestion - maybe upgrade like 20 rooms with new curtains and bedding - probs can get double the money for a slightly upgraded, cleaner room. The drapes have a foot of mold and water stains coming up from the bottom. Just looks gross. I've reviewed before and said the same thing. Great location - maybe just get a few curtains and throw pillows from Marshalls and keep a few tidy rooms! It would be nice. So sad to see such an amazing location go to waste....

I enjoyed the lovely housekeepers, they were very patient with me. The area was nice and quiet until the last 2 days with the neighbors kids banging loudly on my door The cleanliness of some parts in the suite were a little dirty and thought that could've bin cleaned better

If it wasn't for the location I'd have given it a poor rating, our room key never worked from the first time we tried it, we had to get a staff person to open door for us everytime we came back from our outings, we were told someone would look at it but no one ever did, and the AC unit did not work, no cold air but like I said location was good

Pros: Nice staff, lovely location, decent pool and beach, good distance to get into SF proper, perfect spot for shopping and relaxing. Cons: Bad internet, broken appliances, issues with wasps, very VERY dirty carpets (wear sandals around and not just socks), lack of decent plug outlets that work. Location needs some work when it comes to appearances.
