Our stay at this vacation rental was truly unforgettable for our group of 12! The property is impeccably maintained and spotless. The thoughtful layout of both the home and outdoor spaces made it effortless for us to come together as a group or find quiet moments of relaxation on our own. Personally, I couldn’t get over how incredibly comfortable the beds and bedding were! The location is perfect: peaceful and scenic, while still being close to local attractions and amenities. We especially appreciated the hosts letting us know about the complimentary kayaks, paddleboards, and splash pads available at the dock—those little extras created cherished memories for our kids. This rental and responsiveness of the host went beyond all our expectations. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone hoping to create lasting vacation memories. Thank you for making our getaway so special!

Our entire weekend from start to finish was fantastic! Accommodations were perfect for the 5 families traveling on this trip; dock where we kept the boat was an easy walk, Alyssa was fantastic and answered any question we had and made us feel like we had stayed there several times even though it was our first time there. Perfect lake retreat

My husband and I brought our 2 young adult children and their significant others and our 2 dogs. The property was everything we could have hoped for, and more! Spacious and clean with amazing outdoor space. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit with s’mores and the nice gas grill. The dock area was convenient and fun with a nice sitting area. We rented a boat from a nearby marina and enjoyed being able to use the designated boat slip. The young adults especially enjoyed the vintage games in the basement. We truly appreciated the opportunity to travel with our fur babies. The property was perfect. Look no further! Book it!

An amazing winter getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Magnolia is a beautiful well furnished home. We were lucky enough to have gotten lots of snow during our stay. It was so beautiful!! I would suggest additional heating on/in the main level bedrooms. There was a dramatic difference in that part of the house. Lots of "It's freezing back here" comments. space heaters would have been most welcome! We kept the thermostat at 70 lest the upstairs get too warm. I did report that there was leaking in the upstairs window. we piled towels to mediate. My only hesitation about returning to Magnolia would be the heating situation. We had a wonderful time!!

Christmas special

We had a great a Christmas getaway. The home and property is beautiful with nice view and access to lake. My grandchildren loved taking a walk to the lake. Had great time in hot tub with granddad. Plus went snowboarding for their very first time. It just doesn’t get any better when everyone is happy and accommodations are excellent. Deep Creek excellent Family getaway and Timber Rock Village is the way to get there.

Wife’s 40th birthday was a success!

This place was a fantastic experience to celebrate my wife’s birthday with some close friends. The rooms were well appointed, the kitchen was great, the game room was neat, the fire pit was the center for our fun times. The place is super close to Swallow Falls, which was beautiful. Definitely recommend the property and want to plan our next visit!

Deep Creek Chaos: A Family Getaway with Laughs, Lakes, and Likely Mishaps!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia House, and let me tell you, it’s absolutely stunning! It’s so spacious that you can find a place to hide from family drama or simply enjoy a good book without being interrupted—perfect for our crew! My partner and I brought his two adult children, my two adult children (along with their significant others), and our 4-year-old dog who loved the spacious outdoors. We played a lot of games, grilled like pros, used the fire pit to make smores, and spent some quality time together exploring the lake. We hiked Swallow Falls State Park, which is a gorgeous trail and waterfalls and rented a pontoon for the lake one afternoon. The Magnolia House has everything anyone could ever need—rumor has it they’re even adding a tiny screwdriver for families like ours who manage to have the batteries but not the means to get them into the game! We had beautiful weather and took the opportunity to hire local photographer Jessica Fike. She captured our family in the stunning backgrounds of the house and the lake, which was just perfect. And let me just say, we had an unexpected highlight: a night walk down to the lake where we stumbled upon the Northern Lights! We managed to catch some amazing photos, including one where the Big Dipper looks like it’s doing a little dance against the pink hues. The stars are also amazing at night. Overall, we had an amazing time and are definitely planning to come back. Magnolia House is a gem!
