The Marialicia was great. It had updated amenities very clean and the suites felt private. The location was perfect, not too far from the Zocalo ( within walking distance) and far away enough to be nice and quiet. I highly recommend this place and would stay again.

Staff were extremely friendly and room was very nice. Only point to note is the ground level rooms have small courtyard which backs onto rear of another room. When staff are waiting in this area to clean a room and they talking loudly it can be heard in the adjacent rooms which kind of annoying if you still in bed.

We had a wonderful stay at Marialicia Suites, the staff were very helpful with reserving a taxi, storing luggage during an overnight excursion, and providing directions. It is located in a quieter part of El Centro - while still only 10 minutes walk to Zócalo. We stayed in the Superior Suite and Deluxe Suite on either end of our trip, which (besides bedroom count) are quite similar. The Deluxe Suite is one of just two units located on an upper floor, offering additional daylight.

Rooms were larger than normal with kitchen area, seating area and 2 separate bedrooms. We had a late night check-in due to a flight delay and the staff had all the paperwork waiting for us when we walked in. The cleanliness standards were 100% impressive. The hotel is very quiet. It is located in a very safe area with dozens of restaurants, cafes, mini marts and bars on the street. Walking distance to the Zocalo (city center) was 15-20 minutes.

The place is beautiful. Almost all modern lovely 2-room suites around a beautiful courtyard. Some of the best restaurants are a block away. Easy street parking right out front (rental cars only $15/day and useful for getiing to all the beautiful villages and sites in the countryside). Tbe manager and her husband spoke fluent English and were some of the nicest people we have ever met. About 6 blocks from the tourist part of town, but that also made ir quiet and pleasnt. Great wifi!
