The property was clean and close to a very good restaurant called the Waterfront Fishouse. My only complaint is that there are no water fountains to refill bottles and no access to ice
Our stay was good. Breakfast was so good, with a huge selection of foods. Definitely recommend. Friendly staff.
However, I thought I lost my ID at the hotel and it was very difficult to get in touch once I'd left. I tried to call but the phone rang and rang and no one answered on numerous tries.
I called corporate and they told me to "send my friend in Oban to ask if it was there." I asked for corporate to give me the email of the location (not on the website) or or provide alternate phone number and they ignored my email. After another attempt they refused to help again. I never got in touch with the hotel.
Perfect location in Oban. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, the distillery and McCaig's Tower. Quiet and convenient with parking on-site and a nice hot breakfast to start the day
A true budget friendly hotel. I canât say there was anything terrible. The rooms were a good size, the staff were helpful. They do have a machine so you can check yourself in, though I had trouble as it didnât want to take my postal code and told me it was invalid. I would advise against adding the breakfast, there were plenty of other options including wetherspoons which is a chain restaurant that offer a Scottish breakfast for about ÂŁ7.
The room was a generous size, very happy that Premier Inn is now on Hotels.com.
The place was very clean, had plenty of parking, and decent selections for breakfast.
