The cottage is amazing! It's close to everything while still being in a quiet, beautiful location. Charming, so full of amenities, and I can't say enough about the comfy beds. We travel a lot and sleep is crucial and hard to find, and we all slept so well here!! The fridge was stocked!! Everything you could want for breakfast, and so many wonderful snacks (salty and sweet!) Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

RETURN VISIT TO OHIO

Stayed Oct.27 to Nov 1 2024. The owners do a great job of making your stay very pleasant. I enjoyed talking to Don and he was quick to respond to all questions I had. If you are looking for a peaceful stay this one is hard to beat. I loved the country setting and the well cared for property. The description in the listing really doesn't do the property justice its all as advertised and then some. We highly recommend and will definitely stay there again. Easy 5 out of 5.

Great cottage stay

We had a really good time here. It was very clean and felt very much like a family cottage that you can go spend time at to get away. It was situated somewhat in between Oberlin and Wellington, where both towns have a lot of good food and things to do. Beautiful property with a pond and some nice pavilions and the like. We had a great time!

Bday/ anniversary trip

Everything was perfect. Daughter and her family live near by and it could not have been any better the grandkids loved playing with our German shepherds with all the open grassy area they loved feeding that fish at the pond.miss kitty (my dog) decided to jump in the pond 2 x lol.again I can say everything was perfect.

Idyllic Setting

The cottage met all our needs for a visit with our granddaughter at Oberlin. The kitchen is well appointed The grounds had lots of space for walking our small dog. Everyone enjoyed feeding the fish. Away from the bustle of town yet close for quick trips. We really enjoyed our restful stay.

Labor Day

Our girls both camp and we like space of our own. Finley State Park (where they were) is only a 15 min drive! So, we even had room to host breakfast one morning and we all enjoyed some time around the pond

Cute & comfortable cottage with lots of charm (and snacks!)

Our family (parents and an adult daughter) spent the weekend at this lovely cottage for Oberlin college drop off. It was the perfect relaxing respite from an otherwise overwhelming (in all good ways) weekend. The cottage is adorabel and perfect for 2-3 people. It is comfortable and has a great covered deck off the bedroom that overlooks the field/gazebo/pond. So peaceful : ) And we've never had a rental place that was better stocked! The fridge had OJ, milk, beer, wine, 6 kinds of soda, eggs, bacon, condiments galore. The freezer had several kinds of breakfast sandwiches and ice creams. The counter had 2 baskets of packaged chips/snacks and 3 jars of candy! And the bathroom had literally 12 full size bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash. If you need/want it, they've thought of it : ) We highly recommend this great cottage and will surely stay again during the next 4 years while our daughter is an Obie.

Cozy, comfortable cottage

The cottage is so charming and lovely! The hosts have loaded the cottage with EVERYTHING you could wish for! There are sweet and salty snacks, the fridge and pantry are stocked with food for breakfast, and there are additional snacks in the freezer! The bathroom had a whole variety of shower gels and shampoo. The property itself is beautiful. I loved that it was dog-friendly. My dog enjoyed walking around the property. What a beautiful place to stay!

Everything about Aunt Connie's cottage was wonderful from the pond to the cottage. Even small things like plenty of hot water for a shower was nice. We would go back in a minute. Food in the fridge to get the day started and snacks for late night. I would recommend Aunt Connie's Cottage to anyone. A hidden gem in Oberlin, OH.

Relaxing Stay

My sister and I enjoyed bringing in the New Year in this comfortable, cozy cottage. Eileen does a fantastic job with making sure the cabin feels like home. The area is nice and quiet and Eileen an accommodating host. If I find myself back in the area, we’ll definitely be staying again.

Great little "Home away from Home"

This little "home away from home" was the perfect spot for our little family. The hospitality started with the first contact during and after booking our stay. The hosts are very kind and responsive. The little home had EVERYTHING you could want. Great detail and care are evident. The place is super cozy and even had a plethora or snack, to include chocolate.... my vice, so I was certainly pleased. The weather was still cold and drippy, but the yard and surrounding property were gorgeous You will not be disappointed with your stay here and we would definitely book this home again if we travel this way.
