Makai 605 est une unitĂ© frontale de baie. Makai est idĂ©alement situĂ© sur la 42Ăšme rue de la baie. Marcher jusqu'au centre des congrĂšs, les restaurants, les magasins et la plage. Le bĂątiment dispose de deux ascenseurs desservant tous les Ă©tages, une piscine intĂ©rieure, un salon au rez-de-chaussĂ©e avec accĂšs Internet gratuit, un centre de remise en forme et une salle de billard. Il s'agit d'un logement rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ© avec mobilier, tĂ©lĂ©viseur et dĂ©cor flambant neufs. De plus, il y a tous les nouveaux ventilateurs de plafond et l'Ă©clairage Ă  LED encastrĂ©. Les lampes de chambre ont des ports USB intĂ©grĂ©s pour le chargement des cellules et la chambre principale a des ports USB dans la table de nuit. Cette unitĂ© de luxe a un roi, une reine et un canapĂ©-lit queen. Des draps sont fournis, les invitĂ©s doivent apporter des serviettes. Pour votre commoditĂ©, il y a une machine ïżœïżœ laver et Ă  sïżœïżœcher dans l'unitĂ©. Cette unitĂ© a des jours d’arrivĂ©e et de sortie le jeudi et le dimanche en saison et loue tous les 3 jours hors saison. Non-fumeur. Pas d'animaux de compagnie, s'il vous plaĂźt. PremiÚre expérience Makai

Belle semaine, endroit agréable et bien situé. Nous avons beaucoup aimé le condo et son emplacement. Nous aurions aimés qu'il y ait quelques inclusions (ex: papier toilette, linge et savon à vaisselle, etc.).

Nice Place and Convenient

Very nicely maintained condo! Views of the bay were nice, sunsets were amazing and convenient to a lot of restaurants and things to do! Washer and dryer were a nice plus too!

Great condo

The view is amazing. The entire condo was great. Loved that the master bedroom has its own entrance to the balcony and its own walk in closet/bathroom. The kids had their own bathroom. Plenty of room. The only problem i had was removing the trash at the end of the stay. The location of the dumpster was confusing. Make sure you bring your own trash bags. I needed at least 3 bags for the entire week, and they only supplied the 1 main kitchen bag. We got by but i would suggest it. Linens/hand & dish soap were provided. I wish there was a dust pan though. Not a big deal. The beds were super comfortable. I wish i could take the bed home with me. All together it was great. I would recommend the condo to anybody. No big complaints.

Bayfront Deluxe

Loved the size of the condo. Perfect location for basketball tournament at the Convention Center. Easy to access all restaurants and activities in OCMD! The condo was very clean and spacious.

.terrible HOA president

The condo itself was lovely and had a beautiful view! However, the HOA president was very weird and creepy! He recorded the women in our group and had it on his phone. He said he got it from the surveillance tape of the building. Why did he have it on his phone? Was he targeting us? If so why? We ended leaving early from our expected stay because we felt violated and very uncomfortable being there!!!!! I feel badly for the condo owners that have to deal with such a person and that this person is representing them to the visitors at your location!

We came to the beach for a girls weekend. The condo is very nicely decorated and we talked about the view all weekend. We enjoyed our stay and would book again. We did have to call about one issue, but Central Resevations had a tech out within the hour.

We had an amazing stay here. The condo is beautiful just as pictured. The kids loved the pool, the sunsets from the balcony are gorgeous. Beach is a 4-5 minute walk.

Perfect getaway

This condo is absolutely beautiful!!! My husband and I travelled with our 5 and 2 year old and there was more then enough room for us all to spread out. The beds were comfortable and the views breath taking. We had a perfect mini vacation and highly recommend this place!

Nice Bayside Condo

Pros: - Condo is very large and looks just like the photos. Decor is lovely and most things you'll need are supplied, especially in the kitchen. Nice, large TVs also :)! - Location is great w/ quick access to the boardwalk/inlet, lots of great restaurants & an easy drive to Assateague & Berlin. - Sheets and towels are included. Apparently this is not usual for OC, so we really appreciated not having to bring our own. - The Makai building has a nice, heated pool, gym, sauna & billiards room. Really enjoyed these amenities for the first couple of nights. As more & more people checked in, we decided not to use the pool or sauna after the first two nights. Entirely our choice as we were trying to distance w/ COVID & we didn't want to visit the pool when kids were there. Not our idea of a relaxing swim :)! We did use the billiards room every day & only ran into another couple once while we were there. - The view from the condo is both a positive & a negative. If you don't pay attention to all of the other balconies that are to the right of the large condo balcony (one within touching distance) or the convention center to the left or the trash and building supplies straight down, the view of the bay is really lovely. Unfortunately, it was cloudy & rainy the whole time we were there, so we weren't able to see what must be spectacular sunsets. - Beds are very comfortable & bedrooms are very roomy. - Bathrooms are clean & laid out nicely. Cons: - The Makai building is really showing its age. The hallways & carpets are very dingy/dirty, the billiards room is extremely outdated & also very dingy and dusty. - When we arrived at the condo, the beds were made up with quilts & shams, & we just had put the sheets on when they arrived from the linen company. We suspected that the quilts and shams might not be freshly washed, & sent an inquiry via the VRBO app to ask the property owner. Didn't hear back from them until days after we returned from our trip. They said that blankets are washed "occasionally, but not as a rule" in between guests. That's pretty darn gross, especially with COVID... We would strongly recommend bringing your own blankets or quilts & immediately taking what's in the condo off of the beds. Also, bring your own pillows. There are lots in the condo, but most are very flimsy & look like they've been around for a long time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay & would book this condo again, but w/ our own blankets & pillows.

Beautiful, Modern Accommodations

The unit was as advertised and kept up very well, with tasteful modern design and decoration. We would definitely love to stay here again. We had a couple of minor issues that needed maintenance attention and the property management company took care of them right away, with no intrusion on our vacation in the least. This was a very positive experience!

Beautiful condo and prime location.

One of the nicest and cleanest condos I’ve stayed in. My family, friends and I have been vacationing in OCMD for several years and visit multiple times each summer. This unit is spacious and well maintained. Makai is a relatively newer building and in a great location. The only downside to this unit is the eyesore of the Convention Center and construction materials stored right below the balcony. This building in general does not capture those gorgeous bay views and sunsets as well as some others in the same area. Overall a good experience and would stay here again.

Very Nice Place

The condo itself was a very nice place. Everything was clean and the view was (mostly) spectacular. (construction at the Convention Center - certainly not anyone's fault... Just one of those things.) A few things the management company could do to improve: 1: Do a better job of providing the correct sized sheets for the beds. 2: Make the pool, gym and lounge more accessible. It was all locked down most of our stay. Only open for a couple of hours on two of the days we were there. 3: non-slip bathmats in the tub / shower. We had to go to the hardware store to buy one.

Beautiful property, very convenient location, would stay again!

Property was easy to get to, check in was easy, very clean, nice location. Only disappointment was the indoor pool was closed due to Covid-19. This wasn’t listed on website or property listing. The kids were devastated but we found lasertag open. Would definitely bring my family again!

Great with a hiccup

The building was great. The view amazing. The condo was updated nicely and set up well. There were a few sticky spots on the floor upon arrival but no big deal at the time. Biggest down side was we saw two roaches, well at least one roach on two separate occasions. Not much of a complainer so just dealt with it and notified the property manager at check out. I even took a photo to show them it was a roach and not a different bug. The property manager looked disgusted but didnt offer much other then a disgusted look. All in all a good trip and we made the best of it even after the bug discovery.
