Nice Place!

Great price for the Boardwalk Rock Festival in OC that weekend. Check in was easy, the bar on the ground floor was great as was the food. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. The front porch facing the boardwalk was a delight to sit on in the morning.

Harrison Hall is Great!

Great convenient place to stay on the quiet end of Boardwalk. Read complaints about this place before I booked, but my family loved it. Beds and pillows comfy, had a frig, parking free, 1.2 mile walk to Jolly Roger with lots to see on the way, beautiful pool, free coffee, good Mexican Restaurant right up the street, good air conditioner, on the beach, Shower mat with pretty descent shower. Give up the Ocean front view for a bigger bathroom. We did peak in ocean front rooms and they do have Tiny Bathrooms but its not like you have a Balcony anyway. A little musty smell but carpets throughout and water are not exactly a good mix but carpets look new. Great sitting areas in lobby and rocking chair front porch to admire the Ocean. Staff were all very nice and helpful. We The Environmental Team work very hard here and do it with a smile which is really appreciated. The community bathrooms on 1st floor were immaculate. We enjoyed are stay and will return.

Nice area, rooms are small and no electrical outlet near the one mirror outside bathroom. If someone wanted to use the bathroom and someone wanted to curl/ blow dry hair the bathroom door needed to stay open to access an electrical outlet. Not a big deal just would have gave more privacy.

Two thumbs up for a two nighter

Standard room with two doubles was perfect for two adults. Comfortable beds and had what we needed for a two night stay for a beach concert festival. Perfect location & Staff were very friendly. Love that the door to the room doesn’t automatically slam shut so it was quiet.

The difference between the way the lobby area looks vs the actual rooms is vast. I wouldn't say it was dirty, but it just felt old and outdated. The room doors looked like wooden interior doors you'd see in a house, not the kind meant to keep non guests out of your room. Also, the electorcial box for the AC was sitting on the carpet, my husband is in that line of work and flagged it as a safety concern. The bathroom is small (fine for us but something to note if you are a bigger person) and the bed was not comfortable. There was clearly some sort of thick mattress pad on it that crinkled when you moved around on it. Overall, would I stay there again? no. It served its purpose for a last minute need but I would suggest just paying a bit more for a nicer option.
