The comfortable beds were appreciated. Check in was not great as we found a hole in the wall of the bathroom where a hook would have been. The TV remote was missing and they gave us others to try which also were non working. After asking us to wait until morning to have the problem fixed they did send a maintenance man

Would not recommend hotel. Very musty smell. Staff is not helpful. Housekeeping is only upon request which is fine but could not get towels. Took over 24 hours to get towels for showering. Staff was rude.

Not as clean as expected

Upon our arrival, we checked in and went to the room. When we arrived, the cleaner was still cleaning our room. The floor/carpet was so dirty that when we walked on it, our feet were black. The shower had sand in it, so not sure how it was cleaned. We requested more towels and washcloths multiple times throughout the day by contacting the front desk. Either in person or by phone. The mini fridge was frozen. The sliding door to the balcony was unable to secure as well. Other than all of that, not too bad of a stay.

Nice and noisy.

Everything was nice. The bed could use some updating and you can hear everything going on in the hallway, the vehicles outside and the ppl dropping stuff upstairs. Very noisy.

It was great as it was in an excellent location, was walking distance to the beach. Lots of eating options and had free parking. The rooms were comfortable easy to get around, equipped with all amenities. Price was reasonable for its location. I would stay here again.

I liked the outlook of the room. However, things were broken such as a fridge shelf as well as the hot tub being dirty and hair found inside it. We contacted the front desk. They said they would get a cleaner to clean it for us while we were out for three hours. We came back to find nothing had even been done, there was still hair left in the tub. We also noticed a car parked too close to our car over the line so we spoke to the front desk where two members of staff were no help whatsoever after telling us that they’d contact the driver. The next morning, a new person was working the front desk. We mentioned it to them, and they left a voicemail instantly to the other driver which got it rectified the same day. Overall, a great hotel for convenience since it’s right by the boardwalk. However, not for cleanliness.

Do Not Stay Here – Misleading and Disappointing Experience Room: The moment we walked in, the room smelled awful. The balcony was disgusting—littered with cigarette butts and empty wine bottles. Definitely not what was advertised. Parking: Incredibly inconvenient. There are only about 8 reserved parking spots, and you have to book them in advance. Otherwise, you’re stuck parking down the block and across the street. Most hotels include parking—this one does not. Housekeeping: We stayed for three nights and not once did anyone come to clean the room. When we asked, the housekeeper told us her shift was over and that she had to rush to her second job (and then went on a long rant about her personal life). Completely unprofessional. Customer Service: I asked for fresh towels, and the front desk lady during the day was rude and visibly irritated. Basic hospitality was totally lacking. Noise: The hotel is next to a church, and the bell rings constantly throughout the day. It’s loud and impossible to ignore. Pool & Hot Tub: The pool was filthy, and there were no umbrellas for shade. The hot tub is tiny—fits about four people—and has no lounge chairs around it, just a random bench. Tons of unused space with nothing but basic chairs. Overall: This hotel is a total waste of money. It looks nothing like the photos, and the service is terrible across the board. I strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

This is our second time staying at the Monte Carlo and this was definitely a better experience the room we had this time was much nicer and upgraded…. I would definitely stay again and it was much cleaner then other hotels we had stayed in and we literally transferred from one hotel this week that we had to this one bc we found it to be very dirty and had bugs and immediately called Monte Carlo and was able to accommodate us with a room the same day! The only complaint I have with the Monte Carlo is the pool side area don’t always have the bar opened and the check in area, elevator's and doors need to be cleaned other than that I have no complaints about the rooms being cleaned found nothing that would not would have made me stayed here!

Stayed at this hotel several times and this was the first time I was disappointed. The house keeping service was terrible. They took my trash and dirty towels did not replace them. Had to go to the front desk to request towels & toilet paper
