Stay away

Hotel is worn and dirty. They allow pets and the whole hotel smells of wet dog. The free breakfast is pitiful. For what they charge it is way overpriced. The walls are thin and you can hear everything above and to the sides of you room. Stay away unless you like to be disappointed.

We liked near the beach, did not like all the pets because of what they bring in. While available, the breakfast was somewhat OK. I would advise guests who want the breakfast to arrive early!!! Otherwise, one is lucky to get what one gets.

Our hotel room had spiders and cobb webbs in it. It was a major inconvenience since we couldn't use the 2 of the bunk beds for the first night. This is the reason that we rented the room. The hotel room was cleaned the 2nd day of our stay mid day but the cobb webbs were still left there after the cleaning. Would not stay here again

Paid for full view room got placed on second floor and couldn’t even see the ocean, front desk would not make any accommodations or move our room, acknowledged that everything on the second floor is not full view but is there partial view rooms and would not refund the additional money we paid for the full view, hot tub broken, pool extremely dirty my son and I swam for 20 mins or so and both ended up with pink eye by the next morning, thermostat didn’t work room was stuck at 78 degrees super hot to try and sleep in notified the front desk at the beginning of our stay and no one ever came by the end of our stay. Breakfast was probably the worst I’ve ever seen at a hotel, 1 sometimes 2 options and limited food most of the time it ran out before we could get any just overall not a good stay and not worth the 500+ paid

Great getaway!

Upon arrival they told me to come back in 30 minutes because my room was not ready, I came back and there was a very long line and I had to wait 30 minutes .I was pleased to get a room on the day of my visit, they were booked up. The view of the ocean from the second floor was good. If there was a path from the hotel to the ocean I did not find it and it would have been helpful rather than walking on the Dusty Sandy Street with cars driving by. The food was appreciated. However being gluten free there was fruit available one day and not the next. The pre-made miniature omelets looked fresh and warm However, I do not eat pre-made packaged food because of all the added ingredients . The carpet on the stairs was quite dirty, Overall I had a very nice stay. And I would stay there again.

The Lighthouse Inn was perfect for a few nights we were there. We had an ocean front, 2 queen bed. It was 2 adults & a toddler. Everyone was able to enjoy! The toddler loved the pool and the adults enjoyed how close the ocean waves were. The hotel is simple. The room was nice and large. Everyone had enough space. Only thing that was tricky was the WiFi. But also could be the area that wasn’t great either.

they room and view was perfect except for being on the third floor and not the 4th. unfortunately. the person or people that were above me got up at 6:00 a.m. And it woke me up everyday. and they were not lightwalkers. The fireplace remote wasn't working. probably needed a new battery. I was surprised the staff wouldn't check that before somebody checks in. and I would just make a suggestion to have two people at the front desk at 4:00. it took me about a half an hour to get checked in cuz the line was pretty long. other than those things it was really nice. I loved the view and I definitely will be back. however, I will be asking for the 4th floor so I can get a good night's sleep.

I loved my room, which had a large Jacuzzi and fabulous view of the dunes and beach. The hotel staff were very good as well. The pool was small and constantly full of loud children, and there were a few minor cleanliness issues in the room. Overall this was a good stay and a good value as I stayed Sun-Tues. Location is fantastic as well with easy walk to a boardwalk through the dunes and the beach itself, and fairly close to the center of town.

Wish they would have told me (when I asked about water) that I could fill my water bottle in the dining room instead of spending freaking 4 dollars for a bottle of water in the vending machine. Excellent view. Love the observatory. Wish there was AC. too hot in the room! Might have been ok if they had a fan to use, but they said no. Uncomfortable to be in the room. Check in took a long time.Alice could've used some help around 5-6pm, but she was nice.
