It was a little piece of heaven. The view was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the loons. It was very well-equipped. The hosts were very nice and willing to help. Our harbor cruise was informative and beautiful.

Beautiful location right on the bay. Lovely view from the deck and living room. Comfortable suite, with everything you'll need, and the location offers easy access to the many sites in the area.The hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly. You won't be disappointed with your choice to stay here.

Our stay was really amazing. The view of the water and boats was so nice and we were close to everything we wanted to do in the Halifax area for our stay. The apartment is spacious, beds were comfortable and the dishwasher was great to have. It is close to the road and you do hear trafic passing by but with windows closed and the AC, we could hear it less. The highlight of our stay was when Steve and Johanna took time in the evening to bring us and our teenager who loves fishing out on the sea for a boat ride and some fishing. Our child still talks about it and he just adored it. Thank you again to both of you for doing this, it was amazing!

This was an amazing property. The hosts live right next-door and it’s on Saint Margaret’s Bay. Steve and Johane were very attentive hosts and every question we asked or if we needed something they were right there for us. They recommended several restaurants, told us about some of the things in the area and Steve even took us out for an evening boat cruise to see the around the bay. I highly recommend this property for anybody who wants to stay in the area. And we would definitely come back again. Thank you, Steve and Johane! 5 star property for sure!!!

Perfect location and beautiful view

We had a great time staying here. We were traveling all over the east coast and this was a great place to stay while having easy access to Nova Scotia and some of the sights. Everything you need is provided. The managers are super friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for better accommodations.

Maritime memories

My wife and I were very happy with the property. The view from the windows and balcony were beautiful and certainly reflected Maritime life. From the fishing and sail boats docked on the property to watching the paddle boarders and walking to the private beach. While watching the fog roll into the bay we really felt immersed into what Nova Scotia rural scenery had to offer. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.

St Margarets Bay Area

The home was an easy shot into Halifax where our Uncle lives in a Nursing Home. T was easy to go back and forth to visit him daily. We would return home to a relaxing view of the water. Perfect for the two of us

Excellent Stay

We stayed here for 6 nights, April 2-7. The interior of the apartment was exactly as pictured, a cute and private 2bedroom space with a lovely deck that over looks over the cove. The only thing I was surprised with upon arrival was that the apartment was located on top of a garage, and to access it you have to climb a moderate flight of stairs. This could have been my mistake for not reading the add throughly enough but, for me, the photos did not depict this. Luckily all members of our party staying here were able bodied and this was not an issue for us.The only other thing to note about this property is that it is located very close to the main road and if you sleep in the one bedroom that is closest to the front of the property you can hear a lot of road noise throughout the night. Otherwise this was a fantastic place to stay with all the amenities you could need, and the property manager, Steve, was very helpful and pleasant to work with.

Perfect for exploring!

Very easy to get to the highway to explore the south shore or HRM. Nice to have a separate space from the hosts. Hosts responded very quickly to any questions we had. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Loved the dishwasher! Consider bringing slippers as the floors get cold - not a big deal! The views from this second story are worth it!

Awesome Trip

We had a great time in St Margaret’s bay starting with waking up to have a relaxing coffee on the deck overlooking the bay . The place was the perfect size for the two of us but can house two couples with everything we needed . Steve and Johan were great hosts answered all our questions ,Steve took us out for an enjoyable 3 hour boat ride my husband was so happy I couldn’t wipe the smile off his face. It’s a great location for lots of place to visit like Peggy cove, Mahone bay ,Lunenburg and Halifax. We would definitely stay there again thanks again to Steve and Johan 💕

Thanks for sharing your lovely apartment with us. The apartment is very comfortable and truly seems to have everything one needs. I really appreciated that there were plenty of good quality towels and quite comfortable beds ! The location is a bit tricky for walking because you're right on a very busy road; however, a very short drive away you can park and be on a fabulous trail which follows the old rail bed. Friendly hosts in a beautiful area; thanks again for sharing this place with us.

Wonderful stay

Great location to get to many spots in NS. Steve is very accommodating and is there to help with anything you need. Location has all the amenities you need. Great to be able to grab a kayak or paddle boards and go out in the bay to explore the area. Would come Back again in the future.

Can’t beat Nova Scotia

Beautifully equipped unit in family compound. Great people, wonderful view with a little taste of life on a Nova Scotia bay. Somewhat busy road. Had a great time.
