Amazing Hospitality/Clean Rooms

I had a very difficult time in Jamaica where I had to get the police involved. The woman at the front desk was SO Polite and friendly about the situation making sure that I was OK. I cannot thank you enough! Definitely stay here whether you are on a cruise ship or not (the staff is wonderful!!!!)

The Ocean View Hotel is in the heart of Ocho Rios. Walking distance from restaurants, fast food, shopping, etc. the staff are friendly and efficient, and the rooms are super clean and comfortable.

Lovely experience

Very nice quiet place, we booked 2 rooms that our kids can sleep in their our room next to ours. There was plenty restaurants around and shopping broad walks by the beach. We did not tried the beach through it was just 2 steps away from the hotel, we came to do waterfalls activities and we did. Excursion to Dunn’s River was the best! Plus they have a free parking space, because we rented a car to drive around the island we looked for safe place to leave it while we doing excursions.

This property was clean and convenient to everything including shopping, restaurants and most of all the beach! About that, the hotel gives free access and towels to ocho rios bay beach tjat is literally next door which saves guests US25. Factor that into the cost of a room at the hotel and that's a steal for sure. No need to worry that they offer no meals because there are restaurants and atms galore footsteps away in both directions. The television didnt offer many channels but did you really go there for that?

I stayed at this property because it was rated 8 on Expedia. The rating should be a 3 out of 10. The rooms are small with no chairs, no tables, no dresser, just a bed with a shelf area. I stayed 5 nights and received 2 bottles of water total. The property has no bar, no pool, no restaurants and no lobby area. It's more like a motel and not a hotel.

Location is bad and not safe at night and in a busy bus and taxi parking lot. Dark and not well lit. I did not stay there and could not get my money back at check in. Had to find a safer location nearby to stay. Bad experience and very disappointed.

The staff was friendly.I placed sign to make up bed, clean room ..it was not done.Hot water only worked once of the four nights I stayed .The Hotel area was quiet and located very conveniently. Would return but wish they fix these issues or will be forced to shorten my stay.
