While this property was nicely decorated and the kitchen was well equipped, the furniturre was uncomfortable and the slipcover on the couch was dirty and smelled and, despite calling in advance to alert them that I am allergic to animals and asked that the property be thoroughly cleaned (we have friends and family whose homes are immaculate despite having pets so we did not want to move to an older condo further from the beach, which was offered) the condo was filthy upon arrival. I called and was told it would be cleaned while at dinner. We left for three hours and it had not been cleaned. They offered to clean the next morning but we declined as we had a car to unload for our two month stay. So we vacuumed huge dustballs of pet hair and cleaned floors and baseboards and dirty, streaked front of fridge, vacuumed a meal's worth of crumbs under couch cushions and kitchen drrawers, cleared half used soap from guest bath TO NAME A FEW. We spent a lot of money on cleaning products. Other places we've rented leave cleaning products.
To their credit, the property manager was resonsive on other issues: cable going out many times, broken bed, loose faucet.
Description led us to believe there was a water view. The view is of other townhouses.
The was steps from the door. The traffic noise was constant. The unit neeeds a thorough deep cleaning/repair scuff marks on walls. I'd love to know what happened between the time I read glowing reviews and booked and our arrival.
