This was such a lovely place to stay! I could not hear my neighbours at all, everything was clean and tidy, and it was located very close to a food festival happening the same weekend we stayed as well as the highway. Should we ever find our way up to Orillia again, we’d be happy to stay here!

Unfortunately, our stay wasn’t as expected. The area the hotel is located is “sketchy” as there were many people under the influence walking around and being belligerent. Also, there is minimal parking near the hotel, and you are required to park in a public parking lot a few blocks down from the hotel. This makes it inconvenient for bringing your luggage in and out of your car, or if you are elderly, or have small children.

Had the best time staying here! The location being near the gorgeous view from the Port of Orillia was one of our favourites ! In addition, the staff were amazing as well. We also like how the hotel was close to the stores, plenty of dining options, and just a short drive to access the parks and trails.

Overall a Great Stay

Our overnight stay was excellent in room 307. Our only complaint is the noise on Front Street North (below our window) with hot rod cars and trucks waking us up throughout the night. This is no fault of the hotel. You may want to ask for a room that does not face Front Street for a better nights sleep.

Close to everything

Return to this hotel for the sixth time. Always stay here when in Orillia. Close to excellent restaurants and shops. All within walking distance. Also close to water and parks.

This hotel had a wonderful mattress and fantastic pillows. The room was small, but it was just fine as we were only sleeping there. Yhe licatoon was excellent as we were attending the festivities at the port. Room/washroom was very clean. Breakfast was a 5, not the greatest. Would recommend rhis to others.

The cleaning staff left a card with their name, and a nice welcome note. The check-in staff in the evening (a young female) was probably the most polite and helpful young adult I've met in a long time. Would definitely recommend the local coffee shop one block up (away from Lake) and on the side street.

‘Waterfront’ is misleading. Hotel is very dated. Staff is kind. Carpet is stale. Parking always unavailable & over flow parking is off-site. ‘Breakfast included’ is misleading unless you like cornflakes & milk. No eggs. Not sure why house keeping has not returned to ‘normal’ post pandemic. You almost have to beg to get basic service. Our bed was not done in a 3 night stay. No towels. Carpet was never vacuumed. Do yourself a huge favour & book almost anything else. Won’t be returning.
