Good and bad

Checkin was too much. Rude security at gated then another stop at clubhouse with grumpy person asking for license and plate number
 combine to one. Emergency calls don’t work
 no power in kitchen
 Saturday call got taken care of on Monday! Guess it wasn’t an emergency! Warning
 stop on your way at Walmart
 there is nothing in the house. Buy bath cloths if you want them.

Review

This was the first time that we rented a house rather than staying in a hotel. Our only complaints were that of the wifi access, which was poor, and the loose pavers at the entrance of the home. The clubhouse stated several homes had that issue due to the heavy rain that they had experienced. In all, we had a great time and would do it again.

Not What We Expected

Upon our arrival on Friday, the check-in process was okay. However, it could of been better. It was very bad after we went out and returned later. The lines were backed up in both directions. There was only one way into the resort and although we had already checked in, we still had to wait. Be sure to make sure that all of the adults in your party names are received at the guard shack prior to arriving. I sent my names in May, but when I called to check they still were not on file. Luckily, I called the day before we arrived and ensured that they were added. Upon arriving in the house, we were very disappointed. There is a sink hole in the mattress in the queen bedroom on the first floor. The couch in the living room is very worn and needs to be replaced. The water pressure in one of the king bedrooms upstairs is very low and it takes a while for it to heat up. In the same king bedroom, the toilet stopped flushing. The tub upstairs is backed up. We could not get the doors to the outside pool area to lock. The ice maker stopped working. I called maintenance on our first day of arrival to report most of these issues, and I even followed up the next day. No one ever showed up to rectify these problems. Also after returning home, I learned that my family member that slept in the minion's bedroom, had several marks on her body where she had been bitten by something. Overall, the house is very spacious, but it is in need of some major upgrades.

Family Vacation Gone Bad

At first glance it is a lovely property, totally suitable for our group of 17 adults and 4 children. BUT the numerous issues we encountered made for a nightmare vacation. DAILY communication with the HOST, resulted in NO resolution to the most glaring issues. 1. Air conditioning unit in the ARCADE room (actually located in the garage) did not work. This was reported to the HOST on Day 1, on DAY 8 it still had not been fixed, resulting in an unbearably HOT room that could not be used. Foos Ball table in the arcade had no foos balls. Basketball arcade game did not work and basketballs were totally deflated. 2. Couch in the living area was horrendous. No cushioning in the STAINED cushions which made for a very hard surface to sit on--ouch! 3. Large stains on the bed coverlet in the owners suite downstairs 4. 2nd bed in the Mickey Mouse Room was lumpy & sagged in the middle. No one could sleep on it. 5. Refrigerator was missing shelves which meant food had to be stacked 6. Bath towels totally INSUFFICIENT for a group of 21 (house is advertised as sleeping 31). We actually purchased more. Bad Info: 1.Prior to arrival we were advised that the resort only allowed deliveries through AMAZON...... Not True any and all delivery services ARE ALLOWED 2. WiFi network and Password given were INCORRECT (Resolved on Day 2) 3. Pool required immediate cleaning, which meant it could not be used for the first day+ I could go on, but I have run out of characters. We are ANGRY!

Location and house was good but could have been better

When we checked in the security guard did not have our information our names of adults staying there. We emailed that information, but they didn't let the people at the gate know, and we verified that it was received. We had to wait over an hour and half to get in because we had a hard time getting a hold of the person in charge'. The air conditioning in the game room didn't work the game room was in the garage. We let them know but it was not ever fixed. Some of the games did not work or they were broken. We had 20 people at the unit and the ice maker kept getting clogged. The refrigerator was too small for 20 people. The home slept 22 people in the ad. We only had two towels in each bathroom for a total of 16 for 20 people. There were no washcloths and only one hand towel in each bathroom. We had to buy toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dishwasher soap, and laundry soap. It would have been nice to let us know it was not included. The couch in the main family room should have been thrown out years ago. It was lumpy and when you sat down it was like sitting in a shallow hole. I hope you will talk to the owner and have them fix these items so the next people who stay there will not have the same experience we had. We did have a lot of fun while we were in Orlando we did not have any other problems.

Summit 2024

We came in for a large cheer comp at ESPN. The house was beautiful. However the WiFi we were given didn’t work and it took us a day to get the correct information. The check in process was rough because our emailed list of name never made it to the resort, which resulted in several calls and emails. The only complaint about the property is the beds and the couch are super uncomfortable. I it’s such a nice house they really should give some attention to the beds they were terrible. The master downstairs was like sleeping on a hard floor. Several of the beds were very hard or had large dips in the mattresses. The couch has clearly been broken down and was also super uncomfortable. Overall the house was beautiful and clean.
