Theo at reservations was the best! We enjoyed chatting and he was super friendly. The shower curtain could have been a bit longer as it allowed water to pool outside the tub. There were ants by the microwave in our room and we needed to request a clean pillow.

The rooms themselves were TINY. Not much space for anything. Based on reviews, I was expecting a clean room, great staff, delicious breakfast. I had none of those. The bathroom was GROSS (see pictures). The main room floor was so dirty that getting into bed after walking across the room left crumbs and dirt on the sheets. Breakfast was not good. Food was cold and tasteless. We tried to bring food to our room for a sleeping toddler and parent and were told no. We were told it was “policy” not to allow breakfast food upstairs. That is not written anywhere. We were told by Theo to literally THROW AWAY the food. One of our rooms (we had 2) was not cleaned (there was not a do not disturb on the door), however housekeeping entered ant some point and folded the bathmat. Didn’t bring any new towels, and didnt make the beds. When we asked for fresh towels at the counter we were told to “check our room” because housekeeping had been there- like we werent believed that we needed towels. Other than the location and short distance to the parks, this hotel does not live up to any of the reviews. For the price we paid, we expected more. I will not stay here ever again.

Galleria Palms Hotel is a decent, no frills, inexpensive motel for our quick overnight trip to Disney World. It's in an area with several other small hotels, just far enough off Hwy 192 to be quiet and safe yet conveniently located. Close to Old Towne, but far enough away from the nose and bright lights. The staff is friendly and helpful, and everything was very clean, including our room. I have to say I was a little disappointed after seeing the "Fabulous, 9.0 stars" rating, but I should have kept in mind the price tag. It's hard to say the place is fabulous, when it's just a typical, cheap, old Orlando motel, but it does look like it's been refreshed. To be fair, the staff is super nice & efficient, and the place is clean. When I reserved on Expedia, I had the option to pay a few dollars more for a "Premium room". I was given a very basic-looking room facing the parking lot. But we came in very late at night, and it was clean, so we were too tired to bother. I don't know what the standard room is like, but at least our room had tile floors (not carpet, which is yucky in Florida!), a little bar sink outside the bathroom, a mini fridge, microwave & Keurig coffee machine. It was nice that they provided several Keurig pods, so we were able to make a few cups.

This place is a little dated, but the staff takes good care of the facility and guests. Having come from a real dive that I didn’t even stay in for one night I found Galleria Palms to be affordable and accommodating. It’s not luxury, but it’s still top notch.
