Uncomfortable Stay

My family and I stayed at the resort for 6 days. On the second day the air conditioning went out in the entire building. Temperatures in our room reached 85 plus degrees over the last four days. We were not offered any fans or compensation for the inconvenience. We asked to move to another building but that was not an option. We went to the store and purchased fan on our own to try to cool the room down. The communication from the management was constantly "it should be working by the end of the day." On the fifth day we were told it was working, but our room only cooled down to 83 degrees. Hotel is good, but this experience was horrible.

The property is great for family or a small group. We got a 2 bed, 2 bath suite with sofa bed. There was a kitchen stock with the necessities and a washer/dryer. The pool was near the room. The location is great with restaurants and shops nearby. The only complaint on this visit was that our building had to shut the AC off for maintenence, so the suite wasn't as cool as I like it. But there were ceiling fan which was the saving grace. Thank God we were checking out the next day.

Received a VIP benefit but was told it wasn’t eligible for our massage choice. The bad: shower wasn’t cleaned properly and there was some old, beaten up furniture in our suite and on our balcony. Parking can get tight at times. The good: there is a shopping center across the street. The main pool is heated and fun with a bar and a water slide. The spa is excellent and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Beds were comfortable. Pools and rooms were clean. Could use some updates. Experience was great. Would stay again. On our floor, during the course of our stay, someone had kicked a hole in the wall next to the elevator. The hole was fixed and repainted within a day. So, definitely well maintained!

Wouldnt stay again sadly

Arrived around 440pm and room was not ready yet. 2nd day of stay, papers were left all throughout our building saying the A/C would be shut down for about 8 hours the following day. Following day comes up and AC is turned off around 10am and upon checkout the next day the AC was still not on. No offer to move us to a different room and no offer of any kind of additional fans or cooling unit for the rooms.

The only positives I can mention about our stay at Lake Buena Vista Resort are the pool and the convenience of nearby stores. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was disappointing. On the first night, we requested a wine opener since the one in our room was broken. Despite going to the front desk and making multiple calls, it never arrived. When my son accidentally dropped his phone down the elevator shaft, maintenance made no effort to help retrieve it. Our room was outdated, and the dryer didn’t work properly. They even charged for extra towels and basic room service, which felt excessive. To top it off, the staff at the pool bar ignored my boyfriend entirely. Overall, this stay didn’t meet our expectations, and we would not return.
