Could have been better

We paid for the heated pool/hot tub. If you turn it on about an hour before using, it’ll get much warmer but not as hot as a typical hot tub. The beds were adequate but lacked comfort. The clothes dryer required 2-3 cycles to dry a normal load of laundry.Our biggest issue with our stay was the air conditioning. We’d leave for the day usually around 10:30am and return between 6-8pm from long days at the parks in high 90’s temperatures. The first 3 days we arrived back the house temp was at 83 degrees exactly and the thermostat would change to 70 degrees automatically and then say it was cooling over 2-3 hours. I notified the management and expressed my concerns because of the discomfort of the high temps in the house. At first they were accommodating, giving advice and tips to keep it cooler in the house. The 2nd time they sent a tech out who showed up first thing in the morning when the house was still at cooler temps. He found nothing wrong and said he’d return “later”. That evening (3rd evening) when we arrived back and the temp was AGAIN 83 exactly, I messaged management implying that I knew the temps were being controlled elsewhere and they never responded. My husband figured out how to turn off the auto thermostat changes, which I believe was motion activated on the thermostat, and we had no further problem with the hot temps in the house. The house was otherwise nicely decorated and could have been pleasant had it not been for the issues I’ve listed.

House is nice

This was our second time staying here. The house is spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Only issues we had were the hot tub never got "hot", pool was somewhat dirty on the bottom and needing scooped out with the skimmer, and in the master shower there was no door or place to put toiletries in the shower besides one small soap shelf, so those were all inconvenient. Overall we'd like to come back, but may consider other properties that are 100% fitting our needs and as advertised

Equal pros and cons

Pros: spacious, nice sized bedrooms, quiet gated neighborhood, peacefulCons: Moldy shower (master bedroom), dingy washcloths and towels (had to buy our own), heated pool didn’t function properly (there was also a water hose feeding water into the pool the entire time from the house, seemed odd)Expounding further on the pool situation, as this was the biggest inconvenience. We asked for the heated pool/spa feature two weeks prior to booking, but still had to pay 40 additional for a technician to come turn it on the same day of our trip’s start. After having it turned on, the pool wasn’t hot a single time during our stay. We notified management after the first day, they told us that the pool heats up if the spa isn’t on. We tried this for 24 hours, the pool’s temperature didn’t increase and the spa wouldn’t get hot after this. At no point during a 5 day stay was the pool warmed. I’m fully aware that heated pools aren’t as hot as a spa, but the pool was extremely cold. I think there is something wrong with the pool that they haven’t resolved. I’d hope we weren’t charged for a heated pool knowing it wasn’t feasible.

the house is good, I paid a fee of $ 385 dollars to heat the pool water, the pool was cold.

we were a couple and 3 children, 3,6,9 years old, the house was clean, but we paid a fee of $385 dollars to heat the pool water, and this never happened the water was cold all 11 days we were there. I didn't get my money đŸ’Č back and the kids were sad 😞 because the water was always cold. I let them know for about 3 days straight but it wasn't resolved. the pcina was definitely in trouble. of water heating. the hot tub had heated water.

Customer service was horrible

I requested the heated pool which never got turned on as promised. When I asked why the heated pool wasn’t on and I wasn’t charged for it they kept making excuses and finally charged my card and turned the heated pool on and then got mad at me for asking why I had to pay over 200 dollars for 2 days of a heated pool and asked me to leave the property early. So I did and Rented another house with an actual heated pool as listed. Will never work with greenway property management again.

Summer fun

We enjoyed the property for the most part. Things were as stated. We loved having the pool and hot tub right there. Our biggest complaint was that the toilet in the master bedroom didn't work even after calling to have it fixed and the blinds in the bathrooms were broken so that the windows weren't covered fully. Otherwise, we enjoyed the property but these are some things that definitely should be taken care of.

Rental to avoid

The place was roasting hot the entire stay, I reached out to the host who told me that if the temp was consistent then the ac must be working but it never got below 74 in the house. Most nights it was 78. She also informed me if any windows or doors were opened the AC automatically shuts off. The beds are old and broken down. They are extremely uncomfortable. Most of the curtains are missing panels which means no privacy
 even in the bathrooms! The window is directly next to the bathtub and just feet from the neighbors windows. A Pool guy showed up in the middle of our stay and let himself in like we weren’t even here. We were never notified he would be coming. The toilet in one of the bathrooms runs non stop, the dishwasher doesn’t work.

Suggestions

The property was clean, upon arrival getting in and instructions were super easy to follow. However there was literally 1 towel per person, 1 washcloth per person, no cleaning supplies, (dish soap, dishwasher tabs, no laundry detergent and we had to wash towels daily, no paper towels) I understand COVID but this house was stocked less than most hotels for toiletries. We had to purchase all spices, napkins, dish soap upon arrival. Another huge negative was that there was no grill to cook steaks or chicken if you wanted to BBQ. The timer on the hot tub sticks if you turn it past 15 minutes, it is a 60 minute timer. Neighborhood was very secluded and quiet. Other than the lack of basic toiletries and no spices the house was great.

I use Vrbo often and this was the worst experience by far. It was Filthy, and disgusting!

This place is nothing that we thought it was. It was so dirty we had to sleep on the coach until they came in sometime the next day. I would not recommend this place to anyone

Great vacation home.

Everything was great at this home. The only two things were the pool chairs were dirty looking and the dryer took forever! And when it was done the buzzer was so loud that you couldn’t dry and go to bed...or everyone would wake up.
