Meh. Average at best. We arrived around 7 PM and none of the restaurants or lounge were open? We had to order DoorDash the whole reason I booked a room here is because it had several lounges and a bar. The bathroom is tiny. The hallway on our floor smelled like trash and was being found out by fans as if something spilled or flooded.

NO mention of $50 pet deposit when booking online.

First thing… The Rosen’s have multiple hotel/ resort properties in and around Orlando, so double check your address before your GPS takes you to the wrong Rosen Hotel. Now that that’s out of the way… we did enjoy our stay. As others noted, the hotel could use some updating but everything is maintained… so not really an issue with me. I do wish they would have been up front about their $50 Pet deposit required per stay. On Hotels.com it only Mentioned the $16.88 charge per night. I just think that if you include the pet charge per night, you should absolutely include the higher amount of a $50 deposit. That kind of non-disclosure up front leaves a bad taste in your mouth regarding management.

I live about an hour away from Orlando and planned an overnight hotel stay to go to the parks Friday night and Saturday. This is one of the only hotels that doesn’t charge for parking or resort fees, which made it well worth it. The hotel was less than a 10 minute drive to universal parks and offers transportation, we did not use bc of the hours they offered, which is worth it since parking at the parks is $32. The check-in took less than 5 minutes and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were perfect for us, we had a great view of Volcano Bay, and the beds were very comfy. All in all, a great, short family getaway!!

Comfortable Stay

We stayed at the Rodeway Inn Orlando for just one night while passing through and it was a convenient and comfortable stop. One of the things that stood out most was the excellent security - staff checked cars as they entered the parking area, which gave us peace of mind. The reception team was helpful and welcoming, and check-in was quick and easy. Our room was spacious and adequate, featuring two double beds, a small fridge, coffee maker, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the pool area, which looked lovely even though we didn’t have time to use it. The bathroom was clean and tidy, with fresh towels and basic toiletries provided. Overall, it was a solid, hassle-free stay, ideal for a short visit or stopover in Orlando. We’d definitely consider staying again whilst in Orlando and would recommend.
