Great stay, too cold to use the awesome pool/waterpark. The onsite restaurant Drafts was very good. Having a Starbucks in the lobby was nice. Secured access with a guard. Shuttle to Universal took longer than planned as it went to 3 other hotels too. But overall I would stay again!

Great stay!

Was there for a volleyball tournament. Great room, great pools and food, great communication from owner. Close to convention center, although not walkable as there is not a direct way across the interstate. Thank you for the great weekend

Great, safe location!

Friendly, welcoming and helpful resort staff. Location was perfect. We will definitely be returning with our entire family soon. Wish the room had another mirror in addition to the bathroom mirror, but that's the only thing that I'd change!

Just missed the tub!

Clean space, in a nice community. Looking forward to the jetted tub after the day at the amusement park, but the room did not have one as listed. Perfect location for the parks, but off the beaten path.

Property Manager Ghosts You When There is An Issue

Was not a great experience as I had hoped for. The room itself was average. Clean room but broken light switch in kitchen. The main issue I had was with the wifi internet. It was listed as included. It did not work the entire time I was there. Called front desk. They gave me some access code that did not work so they forwarded my issue to their internet support team. They never fixed my issue even when high priority was supposedly put on the issue. I tried to contact the owner of this listing about the problem but he completely ghosted me. When it comes to an issue, you want confidence that it will be resolved and resolved in a reasonable amount time which was not the case an the reason for a low rating. I would never stay at this location again or rent from this VRBO owner again.

Thanks for a fun stay!

Did not like the VERY tall bed, I'm short and hard to get on to. I had to get a running start! I wish that had been mentioned and we might have requested a more normal height of a bed. Amenities were great and we enjoyed our time there.

Great place. My family loved it.

We enjoyed our trip. The only thing I would mention for new people is the water park inside the resort is not included with your room. Its an additional $20 per person to use the water park. Everything else was great.

The only bad thing I can say is that you could hear people at the pool area fairly loud till midnight or so. But that probably depends on the building you’re staying at.

Fun family getaway

Took my Kids and sister to this resort and had a wonderful time! The check in line was really long but other then that the experience was really good. Our key didn’t work upon arrival so we called the property manager and they fixed the issue within minutes. Plenty of pools to swim in and the water park was a great place for the kids to play for the day.

Amazing stay, great resort!

Honestly enjoyed this property. The resort is absolutely amazing and close to everything. The staff on the resort are all very nice and helpful. The place was very clean and looked just like the pictures. The owner of the property answered all of my questions in a timely manner and was very nice. 10/10 !

Great for families

My husband and I stayed here for 16 nights while we were awaiting our moving van (we've moved to Orlando) so we got a good, long impression of the place. I think it's ideal for families.it has pools, playgrounds, paddle boats, and daily activities. There's a little store, a, a restaurant, even a bowling The rooms are nice and they have a screened-in porch. And price is right. Only negatives-I experienced were nickel and diming everything was ' an additional price, down to the coffee in the rooms to charging a dollar to make a s'more so your bargain resort starts to add up. They still charge for wifï, which may be a deal-bre aker for some. We got ours comped, because our next-door neighbor decided to lock us out of our room and refused security's demand to unlock the door and it was 38 degrees outside. The rooms are set up with an exterior door and then there are two suites inside each door. If your neighbor locks the front door, you're pretty much out of luck because card keys won't open it but that only happened once.. I was a little disappointed in the restaurant, but then,not many- people are there for as long as we were . Most of the time it was nice and quiet , but the last two nights saw loud and raucous parties happening into the night next door. In general, I recommend this place for families coming to Orlando for a few days.It’s a good way to enjoy some parts of Orlando that isn’t Disney themed!

Westgate usually a winner

Good experience minus a couple of issues. We were unable to get the room to a warmer temperature. Maintenance advised we can't adjust the heat based off of the occupied main unit since our portion was just the studio. So we ended up closing the vents and stopping the ceiling fan which helped a little. We also were told check out was at 10am which was an hour earlier than advertised and we were unable to get a later time. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Nice hotel

Nicer than your typical hotel room for the same price. Big room with nice king bed, pull out couch, mini fridge, microwave, sink and big bathroom with jacuzzi tub. Also convenient location to everywhere
