This property was a complete disappointment, and the way the host handled the situation was unacceptable. From the start, we immediately express our concerns with the state of the property. We reported a missing toilet seat immediately upon arrival. While the host eventually agreed not to charge us for it, they still withheld part of our deposit, citing a supposed stain on the sheets. No photos or proof were ever provided, despite our repeated requests. Meanwhile, we submitted full photographic evidence of the propertyâs condition â which was far below any reasonable standard.Hereâs what we encountered:âąOut-dated, worn-out furnitureâąWater stains on the downstairs ceilingâąBroken kitchen cabinetsâąNo window covering in the first-floor bathroom, despite close proximity to neighborsâąRemote control with no batteriesâąMisrepresented bed sizes that disrupted our sleeping arrangementsâąA dirty pool tableTo suggest we are responsible for a stained sheet while ignoring the overwhelming neglect of the property is not just unfair, itâs insulting. We went out of our way to clean up after ourselves, even washing all towels with detergent we purchased, which was not required.Refusing to refund our full deposit, knowing the condition of the property, is a blatant disregard for accountability and basic hospitality. This experience was not only frustrating it was disrespectful. I strongly advise others to avoid this listing and document everything if you choose to stay
