Place is convenient and full of amenities. Stocked with perfect things in case you forget. But beds were very uncomfortable. Entry was not communicated properly that there is a lockbox but wasn’t communicated that we needed to use lock on door. Couldn’t get the manager. Couldn’t turn the AC down. Should be able to do this. Suggestion to change out the mattresses but overall fine for 2 nights

Enjoyable stay in a good location. We stayed for a swim meet at Rosen Aquatics Center. 10 min away. Location is best. Away from craziness of International, but close enough to get to things easily. Clean and good amenities. Would stay again.

The condo was very pretty and clean. The furniture was comfortable and there was plenty of seating for our 4 person family. We had some trouble with the door code, and a few days later, with the keypad. Both times maintenence responded right away and was very helpful, polite, and friendly. I would have liked to have had ceiling fans in the bedrooms and on the balcony. There were some little black bugs in the kitchen, but having grown up in the country and being used to that, it wasn't really an issue or bother for us, but could be for some. Could have been just a summer thing or a one time thing. We would definitely stay here again, or choose another property by the same rental company. They were very easy to work with.

Our long stay at Vista Cay.

First, I wish I could give a rating using fractional amounts. When I select a place, a 4 star average meets my minimum requirements. I won't select anything under 4 stars. But for me to give a 5 star review, everything has to be perfect. If I could give a fractional review, I would give Vista Cay 4.3 stars. Please keep in mind also that we stayed here for 6 weeks. So, items that began to bother us in week 4 probably won't bother you if you're only staying for 1 week. Pros: Lake view Trail around Lake Proximity to pool Proximity to International Drive Proximity to Parks Very close to Publix & a few restaurants King Size bed was comfortable Property was well-maintained Cons: Noise level of overhead neighbors. Sometimes very quiet. Sometimes obnoxiously loud. Pot smoke in area. Some people think this is an 'earthly' smell. To me & my wife, it smells like a skunk's a**. Worn furniture with many bumps & water marks. Towel bar missing. Queen size bed broken platform Entry system didn't work so had to rely on key Refrigerator shelves broken The positives to us overcame the negatives. I don't think I would stay for as long as did again. Too many transients who ran back & forth on our ceiling. But the location was wonderful & the resort is very clean.

Nice place

The place is well maintain and looks exactly as the pictures. Has everything you need and it is located in a nice area and close to everything. The only thing I will add to be consider as missing and that does not cost anything is that in other places I have rented, you find basic things such as detergent, extra toilet paper (only 1 per bathroom was provided), more trash bags (only 2 for a week), other than that, it was perfect and we all have a great time. Will recommend and stay here again

We slept like Goldilocks, but we were safe and near most amusements

We enjoyed our stay. However, the mattress in the master bedroom needs to be changed. My husband and I slept there. The mattress was too soft and we sank in the middle as if we were in a sink hole. My 18 year old slept in the room with twin beds. The twin beds had hard mattresses. My daughter slept 🛌 in the queen bed. She said it was just right. When we returned to our room on Friday night after a rain storm, we found that the dining area/living room had water damage. Water came from the upstairs condo. There is a water line straight across the ceiling in that room. There was water on the floor and dining table and chairs. Water probably seeped down to the condo below us as well. Other than these things, our stay was almost perfect. We were near all amusement and dining.

Overall a Nice place to stay

This place was nice and quiet and exactly what the listing looked like. The only thing that I had an issue was the management team. There was no issue to check in but there was no communication over the weekend. I emailed/called to get a later checkout time (10am is too early with a family of 5) and no one responded back. I don’t know if they were closed on the weekends or what because I was never told anything. There should be someone working on the weekends o matter what, even if it’s someone on call for any issues. So, In the morning (as we are late to leave) a man just walks in without knocking and see’s us and yells at us for staying later than checkout time and tells us to “get out”! I also asked the management company where the key cards were located for the amenities since I couldn’t find them and again no response. It took me half a day to finally locate them. Overall the place was a nice little vacation for us and I would stay there again but just needs more communication from the management company.

Great location

Overall a great location, very close to Icon park and about halfway between Disney and Universal. Also a short walk to the Publix grocery. Easy to get to from the airport, quick access to anywhere you want to go. Pools are very nice too. Only small complaint is just small things. No paper towels, the only toilet paper were the rolls in each of the bathrooms, there was no spare toilet paper. One kitchen hand towel (nothing to dry dishes with). Only enough dish washer detergent for one load, same with laundry detergent. So we ended up buying a lot of these little things at the Publix grocery.

Don't trust the pictures

This rental is in desperate need of repairs. One of the two sliding doors in the master shower was missing, the towel bar in the second bath was missing, and half the light bulbs in the chandelier over the dining table were brunt out. We immediately contacted the management company to report these issues. They requested we send pictures. We did it via text message. No response to fix said problems. With as many units available at Vista Cay, I recommend you pass on this condo.
