I liked the old school aspect of the hotel. With actual keys and a dining room. We would have preferred what has become the standard breakfast buffet, but what we got was not a bad experience at all. Really nice stay.

The hotel could use some updating. Our bathroom exhaust fan didn't work, the electrical sockets by our beds didnt either. The bed was lumpy and dipped in the middle. It was a quiet hotel which I appreciated because I am a light sleeper. The front staff was very nice and helpful when I asked questions. I give 5 stars to Shaban in the dining room. He is very pleasant, professional and efficient.

The View Hotel is a nice place to stay. However, the room windows are not soundproof. I was awakened at 7:30 a.m. in the morning due to the sound of landscapers mowing and trimming the lawn. I am not able to share pictures at the time of this review, but I will stay there again in the future and I RECOMMEND.

Horrible stay

I had a horrible stay at this hotel. Do not get fooled by the pictures on the web site, everything was outdated. In my 2 day stay, I had to change rooms 3 times for basic needs in each room. Toilets would not flush properly, the sinks were old, no water pressure in the showers as they were cheap household shower heads from Walmart it seems, not hotel quality, all 3 different rooms I stayed in had different shower heads and a mere trickle. In the second room i was moved to, the A/C unit broke down in the room. I had to be moved to a third room which was basically just as bad. The mattresses were old and uncomfortable in all 3 rooms. I wish I had taken photos of the place to share but since i was on business, I did not think of it at the moment, just wanted to leave. \Overall, they have potential but need a lot of money invested in the property to make a difference. The only thing that made it tolerable was the attention from the breakfast staff. That is the only plus there was as they were very attentive, nothing else. I would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone I know, at all. A bad stay for sure.
