Facilities are great, staff is great, the Byward market area is kind of a street vendor, bar, restaurant area and about average for that kind of venue. Clearly the hotel is far better than the neighborhood.

Pleasant stay with Andaz

We had a good experience at Andaz. The room was modern and clean, check-in was smooth, staff were very pleasant, and they are dog friendly. Parking/Valet was the trickiest part. The only self parking lot was a couple streets over and costs a daily rate. They offer valet for $48- with all our bags, and puppy, this seemed like the most practical option. However, it does seem like the only part of the puzzle that could have been improved. Upon checking out and asking valet for our car we had to wait just over an hour. When I went to ask how much longer it would be it was clear they had forgotten about our request

Amazing hotel with wonderful staff

We adore this hotel! The staff is amazing! They’re welcoming and so helpful. They helped us to store our bikes and brought up a fan to our room as my husband can’t sleep without one. The rooms are gorgeous. So clean and modern with large windows and you can’t beat the central location.

Could be refined a bit

Room was great! The terrace bar was nice looking, but the vibe really turned us off. Terrible music mix, all 80's club music. Needs a better mix with jazz, hip hop, R&B, contemporary music. Brittany Spears played over and over again... so over that. Hotel and wait staff were friendly.
