Our 2 night stay at the Byward Blue Inn in Ottawa was very enjoyable. The Inn was very well located just at the edge of the busy Byward Market. It included a hot breakfast buffet that saved us time and money in the mornings. Paid municipal parking was close by. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was simple but very suitable for the two of us with a queen bed, bathroom, work desk, TV, clothes storage and a balcony with a table and chairs for evening cool off and morning coffee. The WIFI internet worked well. And the mini-frig chilled our glass of evening wine. The Inn was decorated with beautiful artwork in the guest rooms, stairwells and main common rooms. We highly recommend the The Byward Blue Inn.

Stayed at Byward Blue Inn and loved it! The staff were so kind and welcoming, the room was cute and cozy (really appreciated having kitchenette area), and the whole place had such a warm, homey atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious with lots of great options. Conveniently located on a quiet street within walking distance to everything Byward Market has to offer. A perfect little spot in Ottawa—I’d happily stay again!

Comfortable, convenient and quaint.

The ground suite I stayed in has access to a lovely inner courtyard where I enjoyed my morning tea. The room was comfortable and quiet. The little kitchenette was convenient for quiet stay-in meals. The location is perfectly for accessing the local highlights on foot. I will definitely stay here again.

This is an excellent place to stay. Centrally located, walkable distance to all places of interest. It’s very clean and the room was tastefully decorated and spacious. The staffs were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent and had a lot of options. Over all our experience was a very positive one. Would recommend this place if looking for a stay on your vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms are clean and have amenities to allow us to comfortably eat in the room or on our deck when we felt like it. We appreciated and needed the air conditioning. We didn’t have a car so loved the convenience of the location. We took the train from the airport and then a 10 min walk from Rideau station. We walked everywhere from the inn. It wasn’t our original plan but we ended up walking everywhere rather than taking transit. It was easy and safe to do this. It’s close to lots of restaurants in ByWard Market. The breakfast was great and every employee was so nice. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great place to stay. Breakfast is good and rooms large with fully stalked, kettle, wine glasses, coffee mugs, milk, cream, utensils,plates, napkins, microwave and small fridge. Also filtered water and ice cube trays. I would 100 percent recommend this place. Close to mall and byward market, 1.00 store giant tiger and many great restaurants.

Stayed for a night at this Hotel and it was an Excellent stay, quiet, cozy and even got a big balcony with a pleasant view. Their Continental Breakfast had a lot of variety and was tasty overall. Highly recommend this.
