the unit was overall clean, but the check in process with codes and apps and there is a front desk, is really stupid. just check people in, you have staff. the staff were embarrassed that we are bombarded with links and codes when they just end up helping anyway. the room was clean but the shower was low quality and low pressure. not what you'd expect with the marriot name attached

Noisy and Small Room

My stay here was disappointing. The room assigned was in poor condition, and noise from the outdoor ventilation system continued throughout the night. I was unable to reach anyone from the property to resolve the issue, and the air conditioning controller was also missing. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations.

The bathroom in our rooms was a bit small and tight and bathtub needed upgrade, though the unit was compact it had everything we needed and was in a great location close to the parliament buildings.

The staff on the reception desk were very friendly. The room had a small kitchen area which we found useful just to have a light breakfast there before going out for the day. There was a quiet room near the lobby we could use if wanted and we sat there while waiting for our Uber to take us to the airport. We would stay there again if ever we were back in Ottawa.

Great Stay.

Rolm was clean and tidy. Bed and pillows very comfortable. In very central location, brilliant for exploring and everything so walkable. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Gteat laundry facilites in the basement and nice lounge, quiet room and games room. Few maintemance issues that we flagged to staff. All in all very good.

The staff were excellent!! My issues are other things. The room was mostly clean, just some crumbs under the chairs and whatnot that got missed. The bed didn’t have a top sheet, it was just the bottom sheet and a duvet which is weird. The essentials bar didn’t have any feminine products either and when I asked at the front desk they couldn’t provide one either. The second elevator was also down the entire time I was there, and I got an email the day after I checked out saying it was down. Just a bit behind on the communication.

Great place to stay downtown Ottawa. I parked at the NCA which was surprisingly affordable. Walkable to all the sites, good shopping and restos nearby. Room was great but the second elevator was out of service. Had to walk down nine flights of stairs after not being able to get on two rides by. Not a big deal for me but not ideal. Still, recommend!
