At the Swiss Hotel the room in which we stayed was spacious and clean. Very restful and within walking distance of the Parliament Buildings, the National Gallery, and Byward Market. Very secure and safe.

As a man, I would stay here anytime alone. It is downtown near the Scott Mission, and I would not feel good if my wife or daughter stayed here alone. Wonderful quite, clean, cool place - great sleeps!

The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The room is cozy and nice, and television is small. There is no body lotion or hair conditioner in room. One important thing to recognize is that their lobby hour is 8am to 10pm, and this is strictly kept. If you arrive by an early morning flight or somehow ended up arriving late at night, you will be in deep trouble. Perhaps this can cause some difficulty for time-sensitive business travels.
