fun trip

most of staff wonderful except for the grouchy one who checked us in and didn't have the slightest smile or even a nod when she'd pass. Evening bar tender and waitress was fun and friendly. would stay again.

Not as advertised - *Queen suite*. Poorly furnished, poorly lit, rickety Motel 6 style furniture. As I glimpsed the other *Queen suites* on my floor, felt like I'd experienced a true bait and switch. My money and time were poorly spent.

I love staying here for work. Staff is always friendly. The room is always clean. This last time there was a guy yelling in his room late at night, but that is not the hotels fault and it is usually very quiet which is rare for hotels.

I had hoped for a more historic ambiance. While the lobby and bar area were charming, our room was quite small with what appeared to be a full-sized bed and modern wood linoleum flooring—I was expecting classic wooden floors. Additionally, our window faced directly into another room, so we had to keep it closed for privacy. Overall, it didn’t meet my expectations.
