The house was comfortable and "homey". Easily fit four adults and two children in the three bedrooms on two levels. The kitchen was well equipped: pots, pans, and measuring cups/spoons! The decks were literally over the water! The two single kayaks were in good shape, we saw many eagles, herons, and hawks while out on the water. One person went in the lake which was crystal clear and Pacific Ocean temp. We waded in the warm shallows. I met and talked with a very nice neighbor who lived there 6-7 months a year. The road to the lake was steep in places but totally safe The surrounding area is green rolling farm land, Aurora Brewing Co. was amazing: beer, food, and fantastic view of Cayuga Lake valley. Great outside patio, pizza etc. Delicious local honey @ Sunswick Farm. Also a lot of abolitionist and women's rights history in area, Seneca Falls Conference. We would love go again, happily.
