Warm and cosy

Beautiful old building and friendly staff at reception. Room is small and bathroom feels crowded. No elevator so be prepared for stairs. Indoor decor is cozy and beautiful.

I did not think the staff on welcome desk were welcoming or well informed. On the Sunday morning of my stay, a road race was to close the roads in the area. I was told I would have to park at the Hospital or in a town centre car park, both very inconvenient. It was perfectly easy to park in a nearby road ( free) very near the hotel. It was poor, incorrect and unhelpful advice by hotel staff.

Nice location, it was quiet and has parking. We had a room with a view of the interior courtyard, and it was very quiet. The room was small, but the bathroom was nice.

This is our second stay while visiting Oxford. Hotel was in a quiet area north or city centre, with ample parking. Staff were attentive and helpful. Rooms were quiet, clean and had all the facilities you would expect. We paid for the breakfast option, and it was very generous with good continental spread and cooked options. Thanks for a good stay.

Lovely hotel in Oxford - requires lots of stairs!

Lovely little hotel near Oxford. Very convenient and walkable. The only negative is that I paid full price for a room that was up 3+ flights of stairs with little/no assistance from the team onsite. It was a lot of luggage traveling solo with two kids, and I would have appreciated the heads up that my room was up so many flights of stairs with many bags from 2 weeks of travel. I'd stay again but be wary for any travelers in a similar situation or with limited mobility.

Hotel in very good position. Easy to walk into the centre, approx 15 mins. There's also a regular bus service if you prefer. Rooms are a little tired like most old houses. Parking was a bonus. It was also very clean. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good quality produce but a bit chaotic in the dining room the 2nd day. I think everyone had decided to go to breakfast at the same time and it showed. Breakfast wasn't that warm, toast overcooked and the poached egg hard. Breakfast the first day was much better, however it wouldn't deter me from stopping again.
