Long weekend

Great remote place right on the river! We went for a weekend of sxs trail riding. Follow the directions they send you because there aren’t really signs.

Perfect location

The cabin was nice but the location is what made the trip perfect. If you want to be secluded and by the water, this is the place for you. We were able to float from Big Eddy put in spot on the Mulberry river directly to our cabin. This particular spot on the Mulberry is really beautiful. If you aren't wanting to float it's still a great place to enjoy the water and hang out. The cabin had everything that we needed for our weekend. It could have been a little cleaner but nothing was a deal breaker. The communication from the property management was thorough but almost to the point of too much. I received many (5) texts while we were there. One was to confirm that the stray cat they saw on the front door camera wasn't ours. It just gave us a weird vibe about the trip.

Mulberry Spring Break Getaway 2025

Wonderful house and great river access! Very clean and loved the wifi 5G connection! Could have done without the security light at night. Takes away from the view of the stars. Overall, great trip and enjoyed the location!

Quiet and Peaceful

Quiet and peaceful, just as advertised. We enjoyed the Mulberry River right out the back door. We also enjoyed the miles of trails and county roads on our OHV/UTV once we found how to cross the river without trailering. Great stay, highly recommend.

Excellent location

The house was perfect for a quick getaway close to home. We enjoyed the river all day and the fire pit at night. Our favorite part was the privacy and animal life. We are already planning another stay!

Beautiful fishing get-away!

The location of the house in the woods along the river was great. The house was clean, well stocked and great air conditioner and also ceiling fans. Setting outside was nice with no flies or mosquitos. Grass could have been mowed before our visit, but it wasn't bad. Enjoyed the trip with my son and 3 grandsons.

Very secluded getaway

This is a nice little Hideaway. Very secluded. Inside the house was just as desdescribed. Very clean and plenty of towels for everyone. Outside left something to be desired. The outdoor furniture needs to be refurbished or replaced. Access to the river is almost non existent. This was 1 thing i asked about and was told otherwise. There is a small old rope tied to a t- post, so you can scale the cliff up and down to the river. Our friends were unable to use this, so we had to find other access. Over all it's a nice place to stay.

Not so good!

The property was beautiful, however the trash was completely full, running over and no where to get rid of our trash. They sent email about it with plans to address it, but never did anything about it. They left each guest 1 towel and 1 washrag for a 2 night stay. They were also supposed to be white linens, but were stained so bad they were no longer white. The description of the property never mentioned that you couldn't get a truck and trailer into the property. We were in the area to ride the trails and had a truck and 30 ft. trailer that we hard to park on the side of the road in the weeds and leave away from the location of our stay. Every time I tried to make contact with the property manager the phone was busy or had to leave a number and they never called back, I always had to call back and keep trying. The floors weren't clean at the property.

Great Little Getaway Cabin

We rented this cabin to get out of the city and enjoy the outdoors. Very relaxing to sit in the swing by the river. We watched kayakers and rafters floating by the property. Due to rain the day before we arrived, we had a private waterfall all weekend. We enjoyed the property.

Holiday getaway

We enjoyed our long Easter weekend at the Crooked H cabin. The setting was beautiful next to the river, house and grounds were clean, and communication was great. I would certainly return, and recommend a stay here.

Solitude

If you are looking for peace and quiet (at least this time of year) this is the place. It had plenty of space for us indoors and outdoors ( our dog loved roaming the yard). It was enjoyable to sit down by the river and just relax or read a book. The kitchen was stocked well and there were plenty of towels and linens. As GPS won’t quite get you all the way there directions were good but need to add some coming from the north. We really enjoyed the stay!
