The house was good but the listing didnât say that one of the bedrooms was down steep stairs in the basement. Had we known beforehand we probably wouldnât have rented. Also you need to have Kleenex in the bathrooms.
We had a wonderful family stay in Pacifica. The house was clean and comfortable with a modern vibe to the home. The location is fantastic, with cool weather in the 60's everyday and only a couple of miles from the beach. My adult son loved the downstairs family room that adjoined his bedroom so that he can have some measure of privacy. The house sits beautifully perched on a hill with a second level deck and hillside that adds privacy due to the trees engulfing the property. The house is within minutes to south San Francisco to the north and small towns like half moon bay to the south. We couldn't have asked for smoother check in and better hosts. The house is stylish, comfortable and an excellent value. Looking forward to another great vacation with Marbella Lane.
Enjoyed the house which was well equipped in kitchen and the house was clean. The position of property was ok and the view from the back balcony was lovely the only criticism which is easily resolved is the garden front and back was a mess and none of the outside furniture with exception to the seats outside kitchen were not used as they are covered in mould
Everyone was so comfortable and we made great use of the lovely back deck. We did have trouble communicating via chat with the host but VRBO helped with that and ultimately the host was responsive and the stay went smoothly.
This property is very nice, spacious and especially with a lot of natural light. the view from the balcony transports you to the mountains. and we even had a chance to see a deer. it was the perfect place for our family reunion.
We loved the propertyWhen we checked out my son left a walkie talkie device- ckeaners informed us vut never followed up to allow my son to retrieve his device
This appears to be managed by a kind of conglomerate with their own extra process to access the property. We had to upload photos of a driver's license and a credit card, and then still call a central number to get the access code. The house and neighborhood are welcoming and clean. However, we were disappointed by things like cheap 1-ply toilet paper and dusty linens that triggered our allergies.
We enjoyed staying at this property overall. The other reviews are correct in that you can hear kids, and while we were there the nearby school had back to back football games which ran late. We were able to hear the announcer for hours. The rooms were clean (save the carpets, which need replacing). The only complaint was that the furniture, while stylish, was not very comfortable for a group of adults who really just wanted to hang out at the house. All of us had back pain after watching a movie in the living room. Other than that, this was a great place to stay.
The rental agency was very responsive when we gave them input. They mailed us a coat we had left and that was very nice. The house is on a steep hill so it's not advantageous to walk in the neighborhood but its only a short drive to the water.
We were traveling up the coast and didn't know anything about the area. We were looking for someplace close to downtown San Francisco and the surrounding areas without staying in the city. Pacifica is a real gem! Such a cute little surfing town. It was quiet and cute and had everything we needed (grocery store, pizza, Mexican food, coffee shops), but most of all, the neighborhood felt safe. The house is fresh, clean, and newly updated. There was plenty of space for our family of 5. I took off 1 star because the bed in the main bedroom could have been more comfy and the neighborhood felt a little run down (although it did grow on me during our 4 night stay). Great proximity to SF, Sausalito, and wine country.
Beautiful views and great location. The house is adorable. Very clean and looks just like the pictures! The management company was very accessible and answered any questions quickly. The location is also close to hiking, golfing, the waterâŠ. Loved it.
We had a comfortable stay with my family including my young children, husband, and mom. There was plenty of space for everyone though I would say the home decor isn't baby/toddler friendly- but doable! My only complaint is that you are very close to your neighbors (which can't be helped) so it would be hard to enjoy the outdoor space as much if they were also on their porch. Great space overall!
The house was total overkill for what we needed this trip (it was just me and the kid in town for a funeral), but we loved the house and want to return with our friends and their kids. The bedroom and family room with TV and 4-in-1 foosball/pool table is perfect for the kiddos.
The beds were super comfy. We were serenaded by an owl at night. The back yard, swing, and deck were lovely.
Couple of things to note. For people with scent sensitivities, contact the owner before showing up. The wall scent thingies were extremely strong.
There's a highschool down the hill, so it can be loud outside mid afternoon.
