Nice little beachfront motel. Friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms. So convenient to walk across the parking lot to access the beach. Enjoyed a good dinner next door at Nick’s Rockaway restaurant.

First 3 nights we were in the rum close to reception and all night we could hear smashing doors. Was not good sleep. The best about this place is beach view.

The TV is not properly working. There is no A/C only heater. I know Pacifica is always cold but, it gets very warm inside the room. An A/C will help. Thank you.

Traveling Area Manager - no sleep

Your staff is very welcoming and kind, and you can’t beat the beautiful view. However, the walls are VERY thin… because of the noise (snoring from the left and young/loud couple on the right), I enjoyed zero sleep.

If you are looking for the quintessential water front motel this is it. Do not expect room service, microwave, or coffee pot, but you do get open windows to the sounds of the surf and a clean recently remodeled room. Walkable to coffee, dining, beach, hiking.

This is a beach hotel and an older property. The room was very clean. The view and the beach access were such a treat!! It is a busy parking lot, but the hotel has designated space. The walls are little thin and there is no coffee in the room. It is available in the office during opening hours. Clean room with beach and view access ... a good combination!

Beach is within walking distance from our room, with a stunning ocean view from our room as well! It was a beautiful romantic getaway for me and my fiancé. Found a great rate on Expedia! We Highly recommend this place if you're visiting San Francisco because it's right in the out skirts just close enough to get where you are going within a timely manner and would double as a second getaway from being in the city all day.

We love staying here! It takes you back! It’s a vibe! And the restaurant and lounge next door…food is great and fun place to dance in the evening! The motel is right on the ocean/beach. We always leave our window open and sleep like a baby listening to the waves all night. The owner is super kind and friendly. The Moonraker restaurant across the street is good too! With a great view, piano playing and nice atmosphere for a romantic dinner.

Its a trap. This place should be torn down and rebuilt. It is a Super 3. A Motel 2.5. There is one floor and all rooms face the parking lot which hides the ocean view. There is no air conditioner so you must keep the window open for air, which means you hear every footstep and every word spoken from your neighbors. Not to mention there is zero privacy becauee the tiny room is framed by the open window. Imagine sitting on a bed or at the table and you are on full display for anyone walking by. You arent sitting there to enjoy the view unless you like parked cars. This was the worst motel i have ever mistakenly booked and they REFUSE to offer refunds because they know they are horrible. I hope they get run out of town by angry mobs with pitchforks.

Great location, and nice updates (new furniture, TV). This is a 2-star hotel, the extra pay is for hearing the ocean in your room... as long as your neighbors are quiet enough (mine were not). Also, it is on a beach, but by California standards that beach is awful. If you can, take your car and drive up or down PCH for 10-20 minutes to a much nicer spot.
