The amenities and surrounding scenery were breathtaking â gorgeous inside and out. We truly appreciated the cozy yet modern decor, super comfortable rooms, and the peaceful vibe throughout the property. I know this spot is a go-to for ski season, but it was also perfect for our summer hiking trip to Mt. Rainier. It made a great home base to unwind after long trail days. The attention to detail really stood out. Thank you so much â weâll definitely be back and highly recommend it to others year-round!
Darla was prompt to answer and kind. House was cute and tidy. She thought of lots of things to make her guests stay great, such an a shoe rack at the front door and ingredients to make waffles. We would recommend!
Great stay in Packwood at this clean and cozy cabin. Fantastic host communication. We enjoyed going to the community pool while we were here. Very close to town (10 mins).
Stayed for two nights and spent the 4th with family (& our dog). We went hiking close by, which was nice. House was clean and comfortable with everything needed. Our host, Darla was a great communicator and made sure we had what we needed. Highly recommend booking for a get away.
The Packwood bungalow was perfect for our visit to Mt Rainier. We would definitely stay there again. Very well appointed, good location, everything we would expect and more.
Exquisite bungalow fully decked out with everything you might need and much more, making you feel right at home. In mint condition and super clean! Location is great for access to Paradise entrance. Darla was a fantastic host, very accommodating and reachable. This is definitely a place we will come back to!
We were in town for a family gathering, this cute and cozy cabin served as the perfect place for our small family to rest after a long day. Everything is as described, it was very clean and we had everything we needed. We didn't spend much time at the cabin but we'd love to come back again!
The cabin was very clean, had everything we could need, very well stocked! The waffle bar and coffee bar were the best! They had a great video game to play, we enjoyed that very much on the rainy days. The firepit out back was so nice to relax and warm up by. The candy on the table was a nice touch too. Would stay here again. :)
This was the first time our family visited Packwood and it won't be the last. The town was cute and family-friendly. Plus the property was great! Our son loved making Mickey Mouse waffles on the waffle maker, playing in the backyard, and exploring the town. The fire pit was great for relaxing and making s'mores. The host was great with communication and everything was wonderful. Can't wait to visit again.
We came to Packwood to stay for our annual white pass family ski trip. This house was so cute. It was a perfect space for us and our dogs. Very dog friendly. There was everything we needed down to a waffle station! Lots of games to play, and TVs in each room and living room. We enjoyed this cute get a way!
This was an amazing property. We spent 5 nights at this place. It was in a great location with gorgeous views. It was close enough to Whitepass ski resort. It was comfortable and clean. I would recommend this property and will definitely visit again.
Had a great time. Mostly stayed in the cabin and just enjoyed family time. Went up to the snow at white pass. Very nice cabin. Fully stocked kitchen. Lots of blankets!!
We stayed at Darla's property for 4 nights.
She was incredibly responsive to communications, and gracious, as we had to adjust our arrival date and time, and then were so relaxed we decided to stay an extra night!
The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals.
The beds were comfy and the towels plush!
I had asked in advance about fragrances (in laundry detergent, soap, etc) and Darla checked with the cleaner to confirm what products were being used.
I'm highly sensitive so brought my own sheets and soap/detergent, but what was on hand would be fine for most people (Dawn dish soap, Mrs Meyers hand soap, and arm & hammer free laundry detergent).
We enjoyed the variety of board games and the old school arcade game, the ambiance of the gas fireplace, and the raw edge wood design throughout the home.
The back yard was nice for some privacy in nature, with a big fire pit and stocked wood shed.
Took a few great walks at nearby skate creek.
We have stayed on a handful of other rentals in Packwood, and this is one I would definitely return to!
Perfect for two of us to stretch out in our own queen beds for vacation.
Would work for 2 couples or a family with 1-2 kids.
Highly recommend!
to stay an extra nigh! night.
Communication with the owner throughout our stay was efficient and convenient. Proximity to Paradise and Sunrise was our main reason for choosing this property and we weren't disappointed. The cabin was roomy, well furnished, and immaculately clean. GREAT stay!
We really enjoyed our stay here, the cabin was beautifully appointed, very comfortable, and located in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts thought of every detail. Great cabin for dogs too. A reasonable distance to Rainier Nat'l Park entrances, and we enjoyed the local eateries in town!
Great house with everything you could need. One of the best houses we have rented with plenty of towels and a well-stocked kitchen. Located not far from the National Park.
Great little cabin with everything we needed. Was very cozy and close to hiking options, Rainier, and town. The grocery store is town is sparse and pricey so definitely come prepared (our host did inform us of this!). The back deck and yard were nice and relaxing. Cabin is in a neighborhood which I didnât realize before booking but didnât have an issue with. Host was very quick to reply and helpful.
This was such a lovely home. Pots and pans were in wonderful condition, plenty of dishes and utensils all immaculately organized. Everything was easy to find. Speaking of ease of use, all the light switches were labeled so there was no guess what turns on what. That was such a nice bonus. The arcade machine in the living room provided my boys hours of fun when were were just relaxing on the property. There was a dog care basket with poop bags and bowls, blankets. I would definitely come back with the family again. This was a lively experience.
This cute place was perfect for our family of 3. Very comfortable and well-supplied. Within an hour of the entrance gate to Mt. Ranier. Highly recommend!
