We loved our 4 days at the High Country Lodge. Our suite was well outfitted and had everything's we needed. The hot tubs were nice and the property is beautiful! Great location close to town but away from the hustle and bustle.
Appreciate the cleanliness of the room. Check in was digital which was totally great and worked well. Housekeeping staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and staff there also friendly and kept things clean and supplied. Overall, very good experience. We will come back next trip in the area.
Nice place in a nice location. Stayed in a suite and it was spacious and very nice. Our issue was the walls and floors are thin because you can hear everything thatâs going on. From people walking and rolling their luggage in their room. We were in a downstairs room and could hear everything the people above us were doing. Didnât sleep for three days. The hot tubs are a nice feature and one we wanted when choosing this place. There are only 2 and one of the 2 didnât work right when we were there. We didnât hate it but most likely wonât be back.
I just wanted to spend a night on my way home from Pagosa Hot Springs to Eastern Colorado. I found this studio cabin on Expedia, and it was the coolest little cabin imagineable. Loved the setting with a pond to stroll to. Rock Fireplace was gorgeous with the electric insert to take the chill off. I brought my own drinks and food because I knew those items would not be available on site. I did use the coffee pot. Very reasonable rate, easy check in. I had cell service. I was quite cozy.
We are in the age of automation, so check-in and check-out was done through texting. I saw humans for cleaning and during breakfast - all were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the hot-tub. The suite was very nice and modern with good amenities. Would stay again. 5 star all the way.
