Very clean, comfortable rooms. The air conditioning was fantastic, which was particularly nice during a March heatwave. The property is very well maintained and quiet.
Great place only bad part they didnât tell us we had both rooms . I spent hours on the phone with vrbo and also called the villa office until I went up there and they apologized that they didnât tell me the key also worked for the other room .
The nicest place we stayed in Palm Desert! Everything we needed/wanted was there. Pickelball, tennis, golf, fitness centers, adult pools, pool bar, restaurants, full kitchen, WD, great staff, privacy, peaceful, beautiful grounds.
Unfortunately we had rain the first few days, however, because the room was so comfortable it didnât matter. The resort offered activities for rainy days which was nice for the kids. The food and accommodations at Giuseppesâs restaurant was great!
I took my daughter and a few of her friends to spend a couple of days for her birthday. They range from age 17 to 18 and had a great time. They were able to swim and play at the different pools during the day and evening, hang out, and go to town for dinners. They even participated in a couple of the activities like bingo and karaoke. It was a perfect birthday.
The staff was overwhelmed during the check in process on this holiday weekend. Every guest was not treated the same. Only timeshare owners were given a welcoming acknowledgment. In the second room I usually book, there are usually two queen beds. When I called the front desk to see if there was another room available, they made it clear they do not accommodate people booking with a third party website. In addition, the pools were over crowded and people continued to walk on the golf course grass. Several times the staff had to escort people off the grass. Overall, this was NOT a relaxing getaway. I would definitely NOT stay here again.
We came to visit for our daughterâs competition and this is our 5th time staying at this property. There is a lot of space for families in the unit and the convenience of a kitchen and washer and dryer is great. It also looks like they have renovated the unit this year, and it looks great.
We had a wonderful time. We were very HAPPY with our room and the whole experience! My boyfriend loved the room as well, in fact, he didn't want to go home! We would definitely like to come back again this Summer!
Was headed to legoland and decide to go a few days early to spend time with family. When we arrived we weren't sure if we are at the right place as it was very luxurious. The check in process was smooth. The staff were very helpful and informative about the hotel. These where more like apartments with a kitchen and living room space. We got the 2 bd villa as it was a lot of family staying together and it fight all 6 of us well. Palm desert is very hot but with the AC running we did not feel it at all. We went down to the pool for a short time which was very spacious but did not stay long as my infant was getting fussy. All in all I will be staying here again and will recommend willrecommendanfamilyspacious and
This Marriott Shadow Ridge was a very nice place to stay, we'll be back again.
We previously stayed at Marriott Desert Springs and loved that too, but for those trying to decide which to stay at here are our feelings about both properties. We liked the pools much better at Shadow Ridge because of layout, designated adult pools and children pool areas.
Basically both these properties are the same with slight differences. The mountain views at Desert Springs was nicer. The condo layouts are exactly the same, however, we had a foam mattress in our room which my husband and I hated and slept terrible all week.
Golf course at Shadow Ridge was closed for overseeding, but the guys golfed elsewhere. They liked Desert Springs course but not their favorite. They really loved Desert Willow course.
We found it easier to walk the property at Desert Springs, all the sidewalks were clean and easy, while at Shadow Ridge some of the walkways were stone/gravel and in some areas we had to take to the street to meet back up with a concrete sidewalk. Not as safe for older folks with mobility issues.
