The home has great potential and size wise; it is great for a large group. Needs a lot of TLC for the price. I think at one point this home was a fabulous, but needs quite a bit of upgrades to get to be a premier property.
The Palm Villa is a wonderful home to stay with a large group. The bedrooms with attached baths make it so much nicer. The living area is large and open! We loved our time in the house. The backyard was filthy when we arrived. The pool was clean, but the chairs, tables and such was so dirty we didnât want to use any of these items. That is why the score of 2 for cleanliness. The management company sent someone to clean 2 days into our stay. Overall we were very pleased with this property and would book it again.
We had a wonderful time at this property. We had 3 families, all with 1 couple and 1 kid under 7. Everyone had plenty of space & privacy, but also great communal spaces for all of us to spend time together. We loved the pool, especially our 3 year olds, who could walk in the water almost halfway down the pool thanks to the shallow depth. Bring your own pool toys and pay for the pool heating! Location was also great for us, close to grocery stores and the Palm Desert Zoo. But we barely needed to leave!
Grossly misrepresented property requiring a laundry list of deferred maintenance. Pool & hot tub never worked but we were billed for it. A graveyard of broken chairs in garage so not enough dining or bar chairs for our group of 8. Kitchen was not adequately stocked with anything but glassware. BarBQ propped up on treacherous stakes. Letter to follow with more details. Hugely expensive and dissatisfying stay.
Great property, house and fadilities for a large family. But, broken tables, entrance instructions were incorrect, and cooking gear was in poor condition. Had these problem not existed, a clear 5 star.
This property is the perfect layout for our entire village with 6 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms! The pool, putting green, and great room are awesome!
We reserved this home for our wedding weekend and it was everything we could have asked for. The house and the location was clean and super close. The only complaint was figuring out how to turn on the backyard lights/speakers to the pool. Overall myself and my guests had a great experience.
Upon arrival the pool water and outside patio were dirty. Tried to get scheduled for clean up but delayed response left the patio debris unaddressed. The pool man did arrive around 5 thirty and we had to request that he clean pool and jacuzzi⊠he just put in chemicals and was going to leave!! Great accommodations and comfortable. Pool sticks. Only one with blue cushion tip. Dining room chairs are pretty wobbly and 3 need replacement. Pac man game chair has one leg not attached! Poker table chair in game room eas broken and papa went crashing down and thankfully was not hurt. We will respectfully suggest that the broken items be repaired or replaced before there are sustained injuries. To be clear the inside of home was very clean and well supplied with trash bags, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper and swim towels! Thank you đ
The home and property is really nice. Was perfect for our Coachella group. Backyard is a gem - great pool, hot tub (though you have to pay an extra heating fee), pagoda, dining space. Living room and kitchen are well appointed except the lack of kitchen knives.
Which leads to property management - far from flawless but satisfactory overall, which is basically as much as you can ask for with Vacasa. Got off to a rough start - they had changed the front door lock at some point before our stay but failed to update the check-in instructions. Instructions were for a SmartLock but the house only had a standard manual lock + key. Vacasa was not super quick to resolve this but we were able to get in through an unlocked door in the backyard... and eventually received instructions for getting the keys out of a hidden lockbox. Between new locks and the unlocked backdoor, I was a little concerned about security of the house but it ended up fine. Vacasa sends a long rental agreement with a bunch of rules that are not really mentioned in the VRBO listing so that's annoying. And they also messed something up with offering late checkout when there was no one booked to check-in the day of our check-out. On my own diligent efforts to negotiate with them, they were able to offer a mid afternoon check-out for $300 which was worth it in our case. Ultimately, I've come to expect subpar management from Vacasa so I kind of knew what to expect.
Again, the property itself is awesome.
Beautiful backyard, and lots of space! Wish they provided more cleaning supplies like spray and sponges and a broom or mop. The directions to unlock and lock up were very confusing but overall the property was great!
This property is large and clean. Every bedroom has a bathroom, and the beds were ok. The kitchen is well stocked, and easy for a big group (except there were no good cooking knives). But overall we were disappointed. All the furniture is very worn out, smelly and uncomfortable. Although it was not noted in the VRBO listing, we were charged $100/day plus tax for heating the pool. Then, even though we paid the extra fee, the hot tub just didn't get hot enough to sit in it comfortably; no matter what we selected on the indoor control, it was just lukewarm, so we ended up not using it.
