Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay at Ace Hotel. The property was extremely noisy, making it very difficult to rest or sleep. Noise carried late into the night and early morning, and soundproofing was clearly lacking. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay, this is not it. I would not return and would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values peace and a good night’s sleep.

Our room was stinky from sewage after all the rain and it was my birthday and they didn’t even acknowledge it with a free drink or treat. Also - lots of kids and shouting/playing children so the once chill adult pool vibes are pretty much non existent.

This place is fine for a 3 star place but didn’t at all feel like a 4 star resort. The room was more like a nice glamping room than a luxury resort room. The walls are covered in tarp. The floors are cold tile and have two very small thin mats. Our room had a 1970s small table and 2 1970s style chairs. The bed was comfortable enough. Clearly the look was meant to be mid-century modern but it felt more mid-century modern inspired but furnished with a low budget to make a non-luxe version. Some of the parking areas are also a bit weird - curbs in weird places; uneven pavement and weird inconsistencies in the walkways near some of the parking. Pool was fine. Overall - I’d given it a decent grade for a 3 star place but it was listed as a 4 star place which it doesn’t come close to meeting in my opinion.

We left an order for coffee and fruit written on the provided paper bag, on our door handle. we heard it get picked up at around 2:00 AM but we never received our order later in the morning. I called the front desk 30 minutes after the delivery time to say we were heading out for the day, so please don’t deliver it if the kitchen was running late or something. we never heard back either way.

The room wasn’t ready until 6:30 pm, it smelled like the fabrics and rugs had never been cleaned and generally had a very strong smell to the room. They were kind enough to change rooms for us but put us in a new room where the AC said it was working but in fact was heat. We woke up to 81 degrees at night with no relief. When requesting assistance to fix it, they sent the engineer to do so. We returned to our room with the same problem, so called again to have it fixed. This time I spoke with the engineer and he said the front desk asked him to turn the AC off entirely. Luckily this time he turned the AC on through a locked panel and from there it worked. Why would the hotel not allow its guests to manage temps themselves with the thermostat? Makes no sense and we were disappointed with the quality of this hotel, which is really a motel. Zero compensation was offered other than a $65 food credit from the late check-in. I will never stay here again. The beds were comfortable but absolutely not worth the $300+ a night we paid. I would’ve expected a discount or apology or credit of some sort for this terrible experience.

The hotel was wonderful. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was that internet was down until our last day and we could never seem to get the front desk by phone. Overall, great experience!

This was 3rd stay with them and I always had pleasant stay previously. This time was not good without TV, wifi connection and no phone call connection to in side restaurant, at all. They did not notice us prior to our arrival nor we checked in about the issue, which the hotel have known. The lock for patio was broken and we are not very satisfied with the hotel at all. This is very unfortunate and we do not know if we are going to come back again….

The hotel feels like it’s seen better days. Everything just seems dirtier than pictures. Despite requesting a room cleaning the floors remained dirty. Rugs and canvas things on the walls look like they haven’t been washed in ages. To top it off we found two cockroaches in our room. We left the hotel early after that.
