A few years ago (post pandemic); this Embassy Suites fully shut down for a thorough remodel and renovation. Sadly, the current operator (management company) is actively ruining the property, deferring & neglecting the most basic of maintenance and repairs. Squeezing every nickel out of the net operating income. Under staffing the whole hotel, over burdening the housekeeping staff; under stocking all of the rooms consumables and linens. The box spring sham covers did not look they had been laundered in six months. The carpets were stained and desperately needed shampooing. My sister’s room the toilet would not flush.

I booked a room with one king bed on Expedia, but when I arrived at the hotel they told me there were no king rooms available and put me in a room with two queen beds. The staff didn’t apologize, and when I asked whether I should file a complaint with Expedia, the employee responded sarcastically with, “You can,” which felt very rude. This was a father-son trip, and I specifically chose a king bed because my son wanted to sleep together, but it felt like they didn’t care about our situation at all. Aside from that experience, everything else was good. Especially the lady who made omelets at breakfast—she was incredibly kind.
