Over priced for the accomadations. We had left privacy sign on door and housekeeping still came into our room and re-arranged our luggage. Staff was smoking (what's illegal in most states) indoors at end of our hallway, dispersed quickly after we noticed them. We paid up front for accomadations and still left with 1k in additional charges. Onsite property dinning would be conveinent if it tasted good and was quality we didn't find that at Rockwood resturant or Fish resturant. If I was able to re-do my reservations i'd stay elsewhere.

Loved my stay here. Booked 3 nights for my honeymoon and it was amazing. Beautiful resort. We had the special boat ride and it was wonderful. Staff was very helpful also. There’s a lot to do at the resort. Keep in mind that it comes with a daily fee of $45. The breakfast at rockwood grill was also fantastic.

We came here to celebrate my birthday and I was dissatisfied the minute we arrived. First of all, social media had lead us to believe that a boat would bring us from the parking lot to the lobby via boat. Not true but that was our fault for believing on the influencers. Next, we arrived to our room. Room had a non pleasant smell and carpet looked filthy. We also tried to overlook that. The shower wall was dirty and the toilet paper holder was broken and loose.staff was very friendly so I have nothing negative to say about them. Something else to consider, if you are trying to have a peaceful stay, this is not the place. The set up is funky to where there’s a bar area in the open and right in the center of all the rooms. We were never able to go to bed early because people were mowing and being very rowdy. And that bar for most of the night. We booked this place, hoping to love it, and possibly extend for two more nights, instead, we left earlier than the checkout time, and we booked elsewhere instead. All to say that we paid a lot and we felt it wasn’t worth it..

Unfortunately I didn’t have the best experience upon arrival. When I checked in I was given a room that was occupied and I had my kids wait there while I walked back down to the front desk. There had been a mistake which I understand things like that happen sometimes it’s just since we only booked one night we wanted to make the most out of our day. We eventually were given another room but it was so far from the initial one. They did offer us free breakfast but I advised them we were leaving really early in the morning . Nothing else was offered. We spent the day at the pool which was nice. We tried to eat at the Japanese steak house for dinner arrived at 5 and since we didn’t have reservations we were turned away and asked to come back at 8pm. We ended up leaving and ate at a similar restaurant offsite . Overall with the room rate being on the other end I did expect more on the customer service end and also we had to walk a long way each time from our room to the lobby or pool but it is a beautiful hotel.

I didn’t feel the restaurants had a huge variety, and the quality of food did not match the price. There was only one place to eat breakfast otherwise order a room service. The movie theater was not working. Also, I don’t feel like we should be charged for self parking. I never got a ticket. No one ever mentioned anything about the parking when I checked in and I’m sure nobody’s walking around and checking of who’s in a hotel guest and who’s not we were never told we needed to put something on our dash and if we did, I would never walk all the way back there to put that on my dashboard Not a good system. This is not Vegas.
