The house is perfect, looked exactly as pictured, and had plenty of room for all of us. We appreciated the bicycles and the extra beach supplies in the shed (beach chairs and buckets/shovels for the kids to use.) The kitchen had everything we needed through the week-coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, utensils. Loved the back porch. This house sits pretty far back from the beach and from the pool but the walk is not bad at all, and the shuttle service worked well when we needed it. We ended up walking most of the time. The only complaint I have is for the Seacrest community itself-the private beach area is so small and we were nearly on top of one another on the beach. No fault of the homeowner or the property manager-just letting people know. The private beach homes next to Seacrest own the beach area and it is blocked off, so we were all expected to share a very small beach space. We made it work, and still enjoyed the beach, but if you donât like being directly next to, beside, behind, and in front of people you donât know you might want to find another beach to attend. We drove to Deer Lake State Park one of the days and hiked out to the beach area there. It was pretty and had lots of open space, but we didnât like driving our sandy/beachy kids and gear around, lol.LOVED the house!! Loved the area, just sad that there is not public access beaches near by. Hope Local laws change and they open the beaches back up.
The home was great, accomodations were comfortable and the property manager Alice was excellent. The best communication I've ever had staying at a rental property. The only downside is the beach via shuttle is "basically" unsuable. A tiny sliver of land, with rental chairs booked months (and year) in advance that are all touching each other and using every foot of the beach. No space for kids to play or for you to even see the water unless you are front row. We ended up driving to inlet beach, public access which was very close (1 mile) and had plenty of public parking and never got crowded even in peak season. We had a great time with this alternative we found. The neighborhood itself was very safe. Walking and bike friendly, please walkable to nearby eateries and shops. The pool was amazing, despite it being packed we still had a great time. Pool staff was excellent as well. The house was very clean and comfortable, exactly as pictured. We really enjoyed it and all this neighborhood had to offer. We loved it!
We stayed for 4 days at this outstanding 4 br Seacrest cottage. The place was clean, well decorated, very comfortable with tons of space for everyone. All the rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds-great place for a family with kids for sure. The pool in the complex is huge and walkable. However, there is a tram that is available to go to the pool or beach which is very nearby. Alice, the manager, is outstanding-She answers questions quickly and is very communicative and helpful. I am new to 30A but I would gladly stay here again.
This home was wonderful! I could go on and on but everything you want and need for a great vacation stay this home checks all boxes! Would come over and over again!
We had a great experience with our two babies and sweet Pug at this cute homeâŠyou can catch a shuttle to the beach pretty easily, and the back street was a quiet spot for us to chill with the toddlers. The outdoor grill/back porch is a great spot to hang, and the fenced in back yard was a bonus for our pup! Communication was easy and quick, and we would definitely stay here again. Thanks!
This property was absolutely perfect for your adults and three children. Donât let the photos deceive you, the home was very spacious and never felt crowded. The rear porch was a great location to eat dinners, and the front to enjoy morning coffee. Location was the best part! A quick walk or tram ride to the beach, pool, and plenty of food and coffee shops! This was our first time in this area, and we will be returning.
We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Chair! The Seacrest neighborhood is so unique, every house is adorable and you are right in between Rosemary and Alys Beach. The bike rides to each were probably 5 minutes, maybe an 8 minute walk. The tram was great for hauling our stuff to the beach and the house was well stocked with chairs and beach toys. The beach is so pretty, a little crowded but we found a spot every day to set up camp. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pans. As a family, we loved going up to the Village Square at night for ice cream and live music.Overall, we loved our trip - very easy to get to from ECP which was about a 25 minute drive. My 10 year old girls canât wait to go back.
This property was AMAZING!!! highly recommend for anyone coming to Rosemary/Allys beach. The area was amazing, safe, and walkable. The house was beautiful and in very great shape! Everyone loves the house and I would choose this house over any other house near here. The manager, Alice, was phenomenal! She was very responsive, reliable, and accommodating. I highly recommend everyone to stay here!
The house was not as clean as it should be - floors were filthy, dirt and debris in the corners of the bathrooms, dust all over the bedroom furniture (tops were dusted, shelves or anything below the top was not). It is beautifully decorated and as the owner, I would expect a higher standard of maintenance.
We had such a great time in Seacrest. The house was clean and so cute. The location is perfect with many options within walking distance. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful Property, Convenient and GREAT Neighborhood
The property owner is a gem. She answered questions quickly and communicated with us when we needed to have her confirm a stroller delivery to the house. The neighborhood is quiet and clean and just beautiful. The tram comes by quickly. Overall, it was a great experience and the pricing was amazing for us. We would return!
This house was absolutely perfect for us! It was beautiful and clean! Loved the Master bedroom on the first floor! I slept in the master bedroom and the mattress was the Most Comfortable mattress ever! The rooms upstairs fit everyone comfortably. The bunk room is a bit tight but for 3 teenage girls it was cozy and fun! The air conditioner worked incredible! Loved having four bikes to use that were included with the house! Saved me money there! Finished every night hanging out and relaxing in the family room! The host was so nice and easy to communicate with! It was so easy to park two cars in front of the house and all our bikes as well! It has a beautiful back porch off the first floor that would definitely be fun to use in the fall! I just love this neighborhood in Seacrest! So easy to get around and I will definitely be back and rent this house again! I highly recommend it! Thank you:)
This was our second time staying here! It was a great trip. Communication with the host before and during the trip was excellent. Would stay here again!
The house is a lot bigger than what it looks like in the pictures. Perfect place in a great neighborhood and had everything we needed! Communication with the host was easy and always quick. Would stay again!
First of all, the house is much larger than it looks in the outside picture. The beds were so comfortable, and the living/dining space downstairs had plenty of room for everybody. We used the grill in the back and made good use of the kitchen. Finally, the community lagoon pool is huge and close, and the beach is within walking distance across 30A. This was a great find in a great neighborhood!
Tips: Check the bikes early if you plan to use them. The property manager will air up the tires if needed. And if youâre going to want beach chairs and umbrella, reserve them through the associationâs provider before you arrive.
Alice was a terrific host! The check in process was a breeze. Kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials we needed and linens were so fresh. Kids had a great time at the beach!
We had problems with ants which they did drop off some things to help but only helped some. Ants in kids beds. Cleanliness of couch cover and bed quilts all had stains. But the owner was extremely helpful, loved the neighborhood and location
The house upon arrival was a very nice looking place. Ants crawling all over front porch and bikes tied up in front with rusted looking chains. After a few minutes of walking around on the inside of the house, the bottoms of our feet were black. The first night we had the smoke detector erroneously going off keeping us awake. They have golf carts that will come to the street corners and pick you up to drive you to the drop off spot to walk to the beach. The drop off spot leads you to the 40 yard walk to get to the stairs to go down to the beach. When you get down there, you arenât allowed to set up wherever you want. There are a ton of the 2 chairs and an umbrella service you pay a ridiculous amount for either an AM beach time or a PM beach time. Have fun with that. Next best option was the fabulous looking pool area within the neighborhood. First day we went, nobody bothered us and the family and friends had a great time. Next day, we went to the pool and for 10 minutes of every hour, our kids had to get out of the pool for âadult swim.â It wasnât optional, the life guards walked around adamantly demanding every kid (even a baby) was out of the pool until he blew the whistle. We couldnât throw a pool football, or use water balloons, or have any drinks on the side of the pool except water. So many rules that I told my wife we would never come back to this neighborhood again. 3rd night found a huge live roach in the master bedroom.
Loved the house and the ease of the trolley! Pool was awesome! House had everything we needed. Very comfortable and clean. We had 8 adult ladies and beds were great. Wish the living room had comfortable seating for 8. Can really only seat 5 for movies and hanging out comfortably. I suggest 2 more swivel chairs like they have!! Bikes were fun also!
