We chose this condo primarily because of the photos and the advertised views, which looked incredible. Unfortunately, that ended up being the biggest disappointment of our stay.The entire side of the building where our unit was located was being painted during our visit. The windows were covered in plastic for most of our stay, completely blocking the view we booked the condo for. To make matters worse, we were surprised one morning by a painter standing on our balcony, looking inside, which felt like a major invasion of privacy.These renovations never disclosed to us at the time of booking. Had we known that such extensive exterior work was taking place—including multiple floors and the entire side of the building—we absolutely would have chosen a different property.When I reached out to management, I was told they were unaware of the work being done and that they understood my disappointment. That was it.That response felt insufficient given the impact this had on our stay.Given the scale of the project, it is difficult to believe that they had no prior knowledge of this work, which made the lack of disclosure even more frustrating. We spoke with a couple of private owners who told us they were made aware of the renovations beforehand, so why our unit owner wasn’t notified, I can’t say. Beyond that, the unit looked exactly as it did in the listing.
