Tbh it is hard to rate because the staff and location were great. The problem that is easily solved by black out curtains almost ruined the time we spent there. We were in room 4 which is on the corner with a huge and bright street light shining directly at you all night. Additionally the windows are at street level so everyone standing on the corner waiting for taxis etc is literally at eye level with you inside the room. The curtains are see through and don’t quite stretch enough to cover the middle and both ends. You have to decide if you want a gap in the middle or on the ends. The room was so bright we had to put towels up over the curtains to try to cut the direct light. Even that did not stop the room from being daylight bright all night. For us we are out all day and the only reason to have a hotel is for sleeping so this was really bad. Invest in black out curtains and I’m sure your guests will give you a most excellent ratings.

1st thing the pickup taxi did not arrive at airport. They got the dates completely wrong. 2nd The bathroom was outside the bedroom. 3rd The aircon didn’t work but they did fix it for the 2nd night. It’s more of a hostel than a hotel. Location is good.

Staff is great and all speak English. No fridges in the room but there is a big community fridge. The floor in the room was not in the next shape. All else was good.

My Stay there was poor. 1) no elevator 61 steps from the front door to room 21. I am 71yrs old that was not easy. The bath room sink the water control was loose and not secure. this room has three lights all tied together. no reading lamp. you have to get up to cut the light. I requested cleaning one day the maid did nothing she did not change the sheet or pick trash or clean the dishes this was the worst stay ever.

Well I ended up cancelling my trip, I contacted the hotel 36 hrs before my check in to request a refund, and they said NO. Obvi when I go back to Panama i wont be staying there, im glad I only paid $36 for the night, and used my expedia points (which I wont get back) just bc they didnt want to issue a refund.

The lights in the room were insufficient. There was no light near the entry door, so you had to either turn on the light inside the bathroom or go near the beds where the only 2 lights were located. And those 2 lights were pendant lights which didn't even make enough light to light up the room.

Hotel was just okay. Would I stay here again probably not. No up keep, not the cleanest of hotels. Sand in our sheets making me believe sheets were not changed. Old used coffee filters in coffee machine with no new coffee to use, room was on 3rd floor no elevators in case you are traveling with people with disabilities. Did have some views. Again was just ok, more like a fancy hostel!

Perfect spot

From the moment i stepped inside the staff greeted me with open arms. Because I arrived early I stored my bags while I headed out for an early lunch and a drink. The location was great. One corner of the block offered a wine bar, the other corner a brewery, and right next door to that another great restaurant/bar. Two blocks beyond that there was a mini mart two minutes beyond that the laundromat .Made a few stops in the story and it had everything I needed to make my week long stay a bit more comfortable. I was on a side street so hearing any cars or people wasnt any issue. Location was the best. Walking distance from plenty of dining options and sites.
