An amazing location

Mima and Michael have a very quiet nice house with a little garden and a pool... It's better than we expected, ever better than the pictures !!! We had a very good hollidays and we could easily discover Cyprus We strongly recommend !!

Absolutely beautiful. We had a wonderful time here, the pool and garden are stunning. The house is very traditional, which we loved. The location was perfect, away from the crowds but only a short drive into Paphos. Highly recommend the restaurant just across the road, the portions were huge and the service impeccable. Thank you Michael and Mimi, we loved our week here and would definitely return.

Beautiful location and accomodation. Zero privacy though, since the owners actually live there. Their house is big so they separated a space to rent. This means you hear everything they do like talking or going up the stairs. The yard is not separated at all, and there are no curtaind or doors at all, so the owner who was watering the plans in the yard for 2 hours could see inside the whole accommodation, bedrroom, living and kitchen. It is advertised as a secret garden for couples, so zero privacy is vey big deal and is not mentioned anywhere. My anniversary was ruined becauae of the lack of privacy. Plus a lot of noise from neqrby rentals.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful village house. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home – the fridge was thoughtfully stocked with breakfast items and even a bottle of wine, which was such a lovely touch. The house itself feels like staying in someone’s home, full of personal touches that make it incredibly comfortable and welcoming.The garden and pool area were truly an oasis – so peaceful, full of lush plants, and the perfect place to relax.Just a one-minute walk from the house is The Village Inn, a fantastic restaurant with delicious food and great service – a real bonus to have so close by.Mima and Michael were wonderful hosts – kind and thoughtful, always respectful of our privacy, but right next door if we needed anything.We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, charm, and relaxation.

Hideaway Indeed!

Comfortable, pleasant, convenient, friendly and such a sweet and pretty garden - a delight to sit in.Not often you can find a whole villa not flat with just one bedroom just for two people and this is a little gem.Parking closeby and a good taverna just a few steps away. Easy to get into Paphos or head away into the hills towards Polis.

Leuk huis in Mesa Chorio

Alle andere reviews zijn helemaal waar, het is een leuk huis en Michael en Mima zijn heel gastvrij. Het zwembad was begin mei nog wat fris maar warmde snel op. Als je de routebeschrijving via VRBO volgt kom je op de goede plek. Mesa Chorio ligt net buiten Pafos en is daardoor fijn rustig, terwijl je met de auto wel snel bij het stadscentrum of de haven bent als je niet elke keer in het restaurant tegenover het huis wilt eten.

Relaxing Stay in a Stunning Setting

We loved everything about our stay in Mesa Chorio. We were looking for a beautiful house away from the hustle and bustle of Paphos. As soon as we saw the details and pictures of 'Magic Garden' with its hillside setting looking down on Paphos, this seemed ideal for the holiday we wanted. We were revisiting Cyprus after our honeymoon in 1986 and the house gave us everything we wanted in order to to explore the island extensively again, return to beaches we remembered previously but also provide a haven to relax at the end of each day. With the weather so glorious throughout our 10 day stay, we made use of the small private pool, the beautiful garden and all the facilities that the house provided. Mina and Michael were the perfect hosts throughout our stay and were so welcoming on arrival and for the rest of our stay. They were available to answer any questions we had, which was so helpful. Their attention to detail in providing everything we needed during our stay, ensured that we were able to unwind and relax. We would thoroughly recommend 'Magic Garden' to anyone contemplating a stay near Paphos. It certainly deserves the high ratings it has received from us and other guests.

Wirklich schöner ruhiger Ort

Das Ferienhaus war so wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben. Mit sehr viele Liebe eingerichtet und es ist alles da was man braucht. Mima und Michael sind sehr freundliche Gastgeber und stehen jederzeit zur VerfĂŒgung, da sie direkt nebenan wohnen. Am Tag unserer Anreise war sogar ein bisschen was zu essen im KĂŒhlschrank, ein wenig Obst, Wasser und sogar eine sehr gute Flasche Wein. Vielen Dank dafĂŒr. Die meiste Zeit haben wir im sehr schönen Garten verbracht. Leider ist der Ort zur Zeit eine ziemlich große Baustelle. Viele Straßen sind gesperrt und von den ursprĂŒnglich 4 Restaurants sind nur noch 2 geöffnet. Unsere Gastgeber wollten erst nicht, das wir die Klimaanlage benutzen, weil der Strom dafĂŒr wohl sehr teuer ist und viele GĂ€ste es wohl auch ĂŒbertreiben. Als wir die Klimaanlage dann nutzen konnten, stellten wir fest, das es auch sehr gut ohne ging. Also alles in allem ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub.

This place is a piece of heaven

We spent 2 weeks here in a very hot August. It honestly was a piece of heaven, if you want some R&R this is the place to go. You definitely need a car as it is quite isolated but this makes it more peaceful and tranquil. The owners live next door, so are at hand for any queries, they have closed their taverns but there are 2 others in walking distance. We had the most relaxing time and didn’t want to leave .

Aptly Named.

This place up in the hills is quiet and hidden away, yet only about 8 minutes to town by car. It has a pretty little patio and dipping pool. A lovely place for breakfast too. The kitchen equipment is old but has everything required to cook a meal. Michael speaks English which really helps. Mina added nice touches for arriving guests-snacks, fruit and beverages. We had a hard time finding it once we got to the final turning from the road going up the hill. We ended up at a set of stairs. Ask Michael and Mina the name of the Taverna across the street (a good spot too) and put that in as your destination. It is well sign posted at the left turn from the main road up the hill so easy to see where to turn. The Hideaway is just across the road and a bit farther beyond. We thought it was good value.

Fantastic stay in Mesa Chorio

We had a real fantastic stay in Mesa Chorio close to Phaphos. The house was very clean with a fantastic little Pool and an awesome view over village and sea. Mima and Michael were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hidden gem

A lot of space, lovely area nestled away from the bustle of Paphos but close enough for easy access. I would recommend staying with Mima and Michael whole heartedly. Park on the dead end road away from the taverna and walk up the new steps. The apartment was VERY clean, homely and I wish I could have stayed longer.

Idyllic setting with charming hosts

Away from the hustle and bustle of Paphos, the property nestles in a quiet hillside village and boasts a tranquil shaded garden and small pool, The owners have a restaurant adjacent which serves authentic Greek fare, freshly cooked by the owners. However, finding the property can be a challenge so our advice is to download precise location before travelling, but once found wholly rewarding.

Lovely relaxing week

This was an oasis of calm in a quiet village setting just 30 mins drive from the airport. The villa is perfect for 2 people for a relaxing week and the owners are always on hand if there are any issues. Their restaurant next door was great but there is also everything you need to self cater too.

This comfortable traditional property has an absolutely gorgeous garden and lovely small pool. Up on a hill with fabulous views over Paphos, this location benefits from slightly cooler temperatures and more of a breeze, plus much quieter and more peaceful location, than the seaside resort below. It is the ideal location to relax and to explore the area. It’s really well equipped and comfortable, and Mima & Michael are very welcoming hosts. Highly recommended.

You won't be sorry you booked to stay at Mima's & Michael's magic Garden villa! Wonderful hosts, clean well equipped property, and fantastic location. They are always available if you need any advice but also give you the utmost privacy for your stay. A visit to their restaurant next door is recommended and there are other local tavernas/restaurants nearby too. We had 10 days here July 2023 and have fallen in love with Cyprus, we will definitely return.

Beautiful Villa In Peaceful Location

We had a lovely relaxing stay. The villa was stunning and so comfortable. The garden was beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing in the garden reading. We got a bit lost trying to find the villa but Mima and Michael were easy to get on the phone and direct us to the right location. Highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday
