Horrible experience, unsanitary conditions

Terrible place, we woke up in the middle of the first night with breathing problems. The bedroom was full of mold behind the bed board. We went to a hotel as we couldn’t sleep there. We ask for a full refund as this place is unhealthy. Let me know what we have to do. Also you should remove this address from your offer. We taught with Vrbo the quality would be there, it’s not for this one. Let us know what you could do. We are unsatisfied customers.

A great find on a quiet street in a courtyard. Two bonus features were the washing machine and the heated towel rack. The check in was easy due to the owner's detailed instructions. She was also very responsive to any of our questions.We would definitely stay here again.

The location of the apartment is perfect. Close to everything you we needed and wanted to see in Paris. The apartment met all our needs for a good stay - comfortable beds, plenty of amenities. No complaints.

The location was great. Close to 2 Metro stations, restaurants, shops , the river. The space was great for 2 people, three would be tight. The shower is small and drained slowly. There’s a decent step to get in and out and it was difficult for me to get out. The listing indicated the room would be “professionally cleaned” but we didn’t find it so. There were wine glasses on the shelf that were disgustingly dirty, a lot of dust bunnies. When I contacted the manager about the glasses they responded that it wasn’t easy cleaning without a dishwasher and said they would inform the housekeeper to wash thoroughly next time. What? I asked what we should do in the meantime? I wasn’t going to wash them. They asked housekeeping to return to wash the glasses which they did. We received 11 phone calls, and 6 messages indicating that neighbors were complaining about noise coming from our rental which was false. Beware the tourist tax! This place charges 15.60 euros per person, per night which is outrageous in my opinion. I never did figure out how they could justify that fee.

Great location, just look at the details.

This property was in a perfect location, and it’s a good deal for the price we got. It was walking distance to Notre Dame, and surrounded by cute streets with so many shops, cafes, etc. I would say that it doesn’t quite look like the photos, but our stay there was pretty good. The bathroom is actually two rooms, with the sink and a tiny shower in one, and a toilet and a washing machine in the other, with not much room in either. The bedrooms do not have windows to the outside, which can be a challenge if you are a bit claustrophobic like one of us was. The unit has a stove top and microwave, but no oven, in case you plan on cooking. (We didn’t, so it was fine) there are some AC units for if it’s hot, and we did need to use the dehumidifier the whole time. It’s a quiet place, and has a very secure gated situation, so we felt quite safe. The manager always answered quickly and was helpful.

Perfect Location

My daughter and I stayed at this location for a week in April. It was a perfect location -- very close to the heart of Le Marais neighborhood, a Metro station, a grocery and everything else we needed for an awesome week in Paris. The space is small (like most Paris apartments) but is comfortable and had everything we needed for a week. The kitchen is well equipped for take-out and easy meals but not conducive to significant cooking. One suggestion for the owners -- instructions for the washer/dryer and dehumidifiers in English. Overall, very good space.

Wonderful!

We spent a week in this wonderful flat and enjoyed every minute. The neighbourhood is lovely and the flat is an easy walk to Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter and Metro stations. Communication with the property manager was easy and they were very quick to respond to any questions we had. We would stay again anytime! Thank you for making our Paris stay unforgettable!

Deceptive photos / delayed check-in

We had a very bad experience checking in to this apartment. Check-in is after 17.00 (which is very late by my standards), so we had stored our luggage with a nearby storage facility, while exploring Paris. We picked up the luggage to be at the apartment shortly after 17. When we got there, the cleaning staff was still there and kindly informed us that we would not be able to get in until 18.45 - almost 2 hours later. The staff showed us a text message, that showed that she had been booked for this time-slot - so not her mistake. We got hold of a friendly, but clueless customer service representative from the rental team - no help or compensation whatsoever. We left our luggage at the apartment and went back out into the rain to wait at a nearby wine-bar. When we finally got to the apartment, we were quite disappointed. I would call the images of the apartment downright misleading. Don't get me wrong - they are taken at the location, but they are taken in such a way that everything appears MUCH larger than it really is. The "living room / kitchen" and appears huge in the pictures. Maybe it is 15 m2. The apartment listing on VRBO states that the appartment is 40 m2, which is probably accurate. The good: - Location is good. - Clean - 2 decent bedrooms with double beds The bad - Deceptive photos - Problems with check-in - Only 1 window to the outside - Tiny toilet-room. - The apartment is not terrible, but a lot of things were built by an amateur - not a real craftsman.

We stayed here for a week in November. It comfortably fit three adults. The location is fantastic and it is amazing to find an apartment in Paris on the ground floor. It was equiped everything you could need and was also very quiet. I would definitely stay here again! This is a rare find

I loved the location. It’s close to the subway stations and there are many food options to choose from. The hosts are very friendly and helpful too! They provided the responses within few minutes whenever I had questions. I highly recommend this place.

The place is dirty, smelly, and unsanitary, the description of the apartment is not accurate, and overall the place is substandard. We could not stay and found ourselves having to look for a new place upon our arrival in Paris.

Inaccurate description of property and amenities

From the outset we were excited about the prospect of spending three nights in the Marais in this apartment. However, when we arrived we were greatly disappointed. First of all, the description of the place was not accurate. We expected to find a well-equipped kitchen (usually that means a stove to cook on as is listed under their amenities, not just a microwave). The one "full bathroom" was actually two very small rooms: one with a sink and small shower, the other with a toilet that when you sat down your knees touched the washing machine. Another amenity listed that wasn't there was a desk. There also was no deck or balcony as this property is on the ground floor. And the patio is actually a shared entry way with the entire building. To top it off the internet did not work so we had to go out into the street to find cell service to communicate with our hosts. They (Collection Barcelona--never did communicate with a named individual) refused to acknowledge the discrepancies between their listing and the actual apartment telling us that all would be well if we unplugged and restarted the router. They could send in a technician to help with that if needed. As a result of all of the above we chose not to stay more than one night in a substandard apartment. We advised them that we would only be staying the one night and left. We have photos available if needed for proof.

Perfect Position

the location is very convenient, it has parking and metro nearby. it is located in a very nice neighborhood that lets you breathe the air of Paris. It has all the shops you need close at hand and some jazz clubs too. the apartment is not large but, having traveled with the family (2 children 10-16), I really appreciated the 2 bedrooms (quite rare in the area). The house is very functional with well managed spaces. very good for a holiday of almost a week

Cute apartment, great location

Cute apartment with all the necessary items. Perfect for our family of four and our first trip to Paris! Great location in nice neighborhood, walking distance to metro, bus stops and plenty of restaurants and cafes. Host was very communicative and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Felt very safe. Also had a portable AC in the apartment for the days that got a little warm.
